was tempted to back bryson de shambles in the valspar as well, was congratulating myself for staying away from him when he started melting down yesterday, but this collapse from eddie is even worse
I'm truly disgusted with all these choking golfers. bring on the masters where we might get some quality at least! |

By:
thought SSP was home and hosed became more than a little worried now huge relief, am sure nothing can go that wrong now.Due to retire in 5 weeks and golf betting will form part of my limited income so have to get betting decisions correct!

With so much water about here anything can happen, even 5 strokes ,Learning to accept profit pays off in longrun imo

Saddest thing i have heard al week on Golf,Rafa Cabrera Bello number 26 in the WORLD!
Deary fookin friend! Talking of Chokers! |
|
By:
I want to shake SSP's hand and buy him a drink
If he hangs on this will be the third time he has obliged for me at a big price The ultimate "horses for courses" player |
|
By:
Agree was suprised he was 90 on here
|
|
By:
first chance I've had to watch more than a few minutes of this
the course is brutal - that 17th looks impossible still it's a lot more fun than a birdie fest |

Well played SSP,one of the better victorys on tour in a while.Thoroughly deserved!Put a few names to shame this week in controlling your game.

By:
SSP never looked in any danger, very cleverly thought his way around.
Didn't think he could win at this new venue. I wonder how many people backed him thinking it was at the same course as his previously good event form |
|
By:
i wonder how many did not based on the expected yardage of course

This is a proper 'snake-pit' course where you enter the native area at your peril.
I am showing my age now but I remember every year of this... (Red Rum (bay gelding; 3 May 1965 – 18 October 1995) was a champion thoroughbred steeplechaser. He achieved an unmatched historic treble when he won the Grand National in 1973, 1974 and 1977, and also came second in the two intervening years (1975 & 1976). The Grand National is a notoriously difficult race .) Rummie was useless anywhere else! SSP's bogey avoidance strategy last year was a sight to behold and despite his average/poor form and current status he is the first name on the page for this thoroughly enjoyable event...he is, in effect, the Red Rum of the Indian Open. GLTA! ![]() |

I have no idea how good you are at golf tipping or even knowledge of the game.
But you certainly embarrass yourself with regard to horse racing and particularly with reference to Red Rum. Your statement .......' Rummie was useless anywhere else ....' shows your utter ignorance. To help you, read the content of the following attachment,. I suggest you educate yourself , before making ridiculous sweeping statements https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/racehorseheros/red-rum-t4987.html |

You disapoint me, facts, not so much with your knowledge, but with your attitude.
The truth is in your link, with a succession of unplaced fav outings in 'micky mouse' races compared to the horses record in the Ultimate Handicap Steeplechase in most of which he carried top weight...Why the hostility! Is this place 'your pitch'? ![]() Career stats 10031034/12/2433021110/000023000002F0/3133131434333/402013103304/111113241/ 2111221U11/21031420/34S30300020/10303010/22440 04/03/1978 Haydock 3 M Chase Unplaced 33/1 Tommy Stack 08/02/1978 Haydock 3 M 4 F Chase 4th 25/1 Ron Barry 29/10/1977 Catterick 3 M 300Y Chase 4th 13/2 Ron Barry 12/10/1977 Wetherby 3 M 100Y Chase 2nd 4/5 Fav Ron Barry 17/09/1977 Carlisle 3 M Chase 2nd 2/1 Fav Ron Barry 16/04/1977 Ayr 4 M 120Y Chase Unplaced 100/30 Fav Tommy Stack 02/04/1977 Aintree 4 M 4 F Chase 11-8 1st 9/1 Tommy Stack 04/03/1977 Haydock 3 M Chase Unplaced 16/1 Tommy Stack 09/02/1977 Haydock 3 M 4 F Chase Unplaced 9/1 Tommy Stack 01/12/1976 Haydock 3 M Chase 3rd 12/1 Ron Barry 20/11/1976 Newcastle 3 M Chase Unplaced 11/8 Fav Tommy Stack 05/11/1976 Haydock 3 M Chase 3rd 5/1 Ron Barry 16/10/1976 Kempton 3 M 4 F Chase Unplaced 13/2 Tommy Stack 25/09/1976 Carlisle 3 M Chase 1st 2/5 Fav Tommy Stack 24/04/1976 Sandown 3 M 5 F 118Y Chase Unplaced 5/1 Fav Tommy Stack 03/04/1976 Aintree 4 M 4 F Chase 11-10 2nd 10/1 Tommy Stack 06/03/1976 Haydock 3 M Chase Unplaced 6/1 Tommy Stack 11/02/1976 Haydock 3 M 4 F Chase Unplaced 7/1 Tommy Stack 26/11/1975 Haydock 3 M Chase 3rd 6/1 Tommy Stack 22/11/1975 Newbury 3 M 2 F Chase Unplaced 8/1 Ron Barry 30/10/1975 Newcastle 3 M Chase 3rd Evens Fav Brian Fletcher 15/10/1975 Haydock 3 M Chase SU 2/1 Fav Brian Fletcher 11/10/1975 Ayr 3 M 110Y Chase 4th 6/4 Fav Brian Fletcher 27/09/1975 Carlisle 3 M Chase 3rd 7/2 Brian Fletcher 19/04/1975 Ayr 4 M 120Y Chase Unplaced 3/1 Fav Brian Fletcher 05/04/1975 Aintree 4 M 856Y Chase 12-0 2nd 7/2 Fav Brian Fletcher 01/03/1975 Haydock 3 M Chase 4th 13/8 Fav Brian Fletcher 05/02/1975 Haydock 3 M 4 F Chase 1st 6/1 Brian Fletcher 27/11/1974 Haydock 3 M Chase 3rd 3/1 Brian Fletcher 19/10/1974 Kempton 3 M 4 F Chase Unplaced 9/4 Fav Brian Fletcher 12/10/1974 Ayr 3 M 110Y Chase 1st 5/4 Fav Brian Fletcher 25/09/1974 Perth 3 M Chase 2nd 5/4 Fav Brian Fletcher 20/04/1974 Ayr 4 M 120Y Chase 1st 11/8 Fav Brian Fletcher 30/03/1974 Aintree 4 M 856Y Chase 12-0 1st 11/1 Brian Fletcher 02/03/1974 Haydock 3 M Chase UR 5/1 Brian Fletcher 20/02/1974 Catterick 3 M 300Y Chase 1st 3/1 Brian Fletcher 24/11/1973 Newbury 3 M 2 F Chase 2nd 8/1 Brian Fletcher 10/11/1973 Doncaster 3 M 2 F Chase 2nd 5/2 Brian Fletcher 31/10/1973 Newcastle 3 M Chase 1st 13/8 Fav Brian Fletcher 13/10/1973 Ayr 3 M 110Y Chase 1st 10/11 Fav Brian Fletcher 29/09/1973 Carlisle 3 M Chase 1st 8/13 Fav Brian Fletcher |
