Round 3 today in case the latecomers think it's round 4.

Persaud's interviews are sooo trite
annoying little pr*ck

dry windy 25mph Monday
tight leaderboard
will be huge price changes hole to hole

Some of the prices make no sense. Sergio 3 back and 30 but Charl 4 back and 120?
My top ten on Lawrie meltin like snow off a freakin ****
Really looking forward to not seeing Paul Lawrie faffing around tomorrow.
Shows how easy it is to go backward at St Andrews if the putter goes cold as DJ's has today
Peter Alliss thinks Dustin has held his position today
Do we need to back a Birdie Machine type player tomorrow?
Don't know much about Niebrugge but don't think I'd fancy laying a guy 3 shots back at 350/1. Just takes one good round and he wouldn't be -9 if he wasn't capable.

lets hope Rishi interviews Lawrie shortly
absolute outwardly calm but massive inner choke by DJ..no other way to describe it
can surely never win a big one on this showing
can surely never win a big one on this showing
His round today sits alongside the Pebble Beach meltdown when you factor in the varying playability of both courses.
Willett,Warren and Lawrie all taken the gas today
TB The performances of the amateurs this week tells you that 350 is a crazy price

of course, 3 european tour journeymen
DJ walking over the bridge like he is in a trance
With his length and ability Rhino 1 birdie in 17 holes is awful

he will be within the hour, lots of coke in that hotel room
He's pretty much becoming a great back to lay. Back him at outset lay him after 36 or 54 depending on how greedy you get
casey's 75 the worst today, dusty 2 putts to beat him .....
That just sums up his day today a dreadfully thought out shot
I think Fowler is still too big at 130 or so. He's put together his best round today, hopefully timing his run nicely and for the last 2 days he's only bogeyed the infamous Road Hole. Am hoping to get a decent trade out of it.
if u cant break par on this park with his length uve done something seriously wrong
When things are going wrong he rushes a lot. Its as if he just wants the shot out the way because he knows he is struggling
Fowler definitely one who can go mad with birdies Alun
Forecast for tomorrow afternoon might as well just be a big picture of Padraig's face.
Commentatot talking bulls**t.
Conditions harder for Willett and Johnson
Conditions harder for Willett and Johnson
That's what I was thinking Hib. Plus he's been very consistent in the Majors last few years.
Some effort for Dusty to shoot 75 in the easiest conditions all week
Given the conditions and his ability, that's one of the worst rounds of the year from DJ. He does enjoy an 18th hole tiddler.
don't fancy day, dunne, louis or spieth to get it done
serge, rose, scott or zach or any number of others

DJ once again...a big big thank you...just a great back to lay. So consistently fails to deliver on the big stage. No doubt hit a 64/65 tomorrow but all too late. Been a superb Open so far. Brilliant to see that leaderboard packed with talent young and old. Going to be a cracker tomorrow.
I have always said that DJ has 'dead' eyes...just empty. There isn't enough in his head to be a champion...lacks the brains. Huge talent but nothing to manage it.
Pod would be a great winner, Oost also ....but Speith would be the best for golf.

The one upside for DJ is that he's already completely forgotten everything that just happened.
Hopefully someone reminds him he needs to turn up tomorrow he probably thought it was over after Sunday
From 2.8 to 65 with the course playing that easy and his length is some achievement
His caddie told him it was sunday but forgot to tell him it was the third round.
Chipped into valley of sin, putted up and missed from 4ft for par

Third-round scoring average at #TheOpen was 69.71. Dustin Johnson shot 75.
Yeah thanks for that TB, even though my hopes of getting out ahead crashed with DJ that made me laugh
Joint worst of day alongside Casey.
Just read only 3 bogeys at 1 and 3 bogeys at 18 all day. Charl Schwartzel managed to contribute at both. He's had most birdies in the field but too many stupid mistakes

u sure leaders are out at 1430 FOZ>..if so v poor coverage by the beeb
ur going to have players well in the mix going out from 1230ish onwards

Charl managed to bogey 14 too so have 3 shots back to the field right there and he's only 4 back. Bah.
Did someone say 20 mph winds tmw? that's enough to do some damage
Dj crying out for a proper caddy. ...
Should be good tomorrow

Yeah wind getting up as day goes on. Agreed about the caddy too Padlock his brother ain't up to the job

Great round by Paul Dunne today. I enjoyed playing with him. All the best for tomorrow.

Leaders are too short imo. So many that could get into the mmix.
65% the front 3 taking out so whats that equate to? 1/2 one of them wins it?
It really just depends who gets hot with the putter tmw. Ominously for the field Spieth didn't putt that well today.
He hasn't putted all week it just depends if he has 1 hot day with the putter or if an average day does the job
why they finish on Monday not been following the golf this week
Spieth starting price today looks like bet of year now. Funny if it was Rory he'd have been half that price yet he's won the last 2 majors.
I didn't think Speith would manage it this week, late arrival after winning in America Sunday, wrong side of the draw for the weather, yet still he just keeps putting himself in the right position to win, he can really find shots when needed and just expects to win? I am not his greatest fan, his game just doesn't have a defined advantage, he just consistently makes it happen, responds well to things happening around him and basically carries himself like a champion, thankfully my team allow me to trade out at a profit albeit small, but enough to use my profit on Speith for a good sized return. Just cant see past him, I have Oosthuizen in my team and can see him and Day pushing him but when it comes down to the back nine I feel Speith will find another gear, he just has that X factor!
Also something wrong with the CASH OUT on the Open, Since the cut I can cash out at one amount through my laptop, yet when I go through my IPhone the cash out figure is over two hundred pounds more?
speith is a likeable guy one of the most genuine sportsman you will ever see
What does Speith have that a lot of others don't though? He knows how to win
Garcia just tweeted that it's great there will be a new champ tomorrow. Take it he has disregarded Pod's chances then??

Site is down, what a nightmare, must be a lot of people like me looking to trade on the Open for tomorrow. Betfair just cant get it right, god help them if they ever get any serious competition, they would be doomed in a week with the reputation for site stability and customer service they have!
Sum up Sergio. Rather than talk himself up and be confident, he is already celebrating another.

Shame for Danny ,Dustin dragged him down.
i believe pairings are important in the psychology of the game, can have a positive or negative effect on certain players.
Will be having a close look at final pairings when i stop spouting this cr ap.
Far too subtle for me Money but u know what they say about sarcasm
No but seriously i think pairings have an impact eg Paul Dunne is out again with Louis in the last group tommo and i think cos he played so well with him today it will help him tomorrow, not saying he'll win but may help keep him in top ten.
