Heard the one about an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman?
The Englishman is top of the Open Championship leaderboard, with the Irishman and Scotsman in close pursuit. Nope, this isn't a terrible joke. |

Weather update
It's sunny/rainy/windy! Posted at 07:23 BBC Weather's Simon King: "While it'll be pretty cloudy today, it'll remain dry at St Andrews with some brighter skies perhaps breaking through later. However, an easterly wind will gradually increase into this afternoon and we'll see a top temperature of around 14°C. "The early tees tomorrow may have to face some more challenging conditions as we get some heavy (potentially torrential) rain and strong blustery winds. The rain will gradually clear through the morning so those teeing off later will have drier and brighter weather. The wind will be one to watch though as it'll stay strong and swing from an easterly to a south-westerly later. "Very strong and gusty south westerly winds on Saturday morning but a dry day with sunny spells developing. Calmer conditions likely for Sunday." |
