8.8 ?????, layed him @ 7.6 sunday night
will be @ backer before play . |

It is just the two majors he's won this year isn't it? And can anybody tell who won lasts weeks tournament? When Tiger was in this form he used to start tournaments at 6/4.
By:
last twenty starts 6 wins, 3 seconds, 2 thirds, 14 top tens.
Over the last six months he has gone to another level and is head and shoulders above the rest at the moment. When you consider the increased media attention all the media interviews he has had to do after the majors wins it has been very impressive. The weather could beat him but if he gets an even break I doubt many of the field will. He is a worthy favourite. |

A fit young man whose body hasn't yet been ravaged by knee and back problems which come along in time as these professional athletes pulverise themselves through excessive physical exertion.
Is St Andrews the hardest golf course in the world? Not exactly forests of trees are they? |

these top players at a disadvantage on day 2 2.00pm+ tee times
bubba watson charl schwartzel ian poulter lee westwood sergio garcia patrick reed jordan spieth hideki matsuyama dustin johnson jason day tiger woods louis oosthuizen |
By:
Does challenging playing conditions leave the best players with a diminished chance anyway? Isn't there an argument that the best players will be more likely to come to the top if strong winds prevail.

these top players at an advantage on day 2 8.00 am to 9.55 am tee times
tommy fleetwood zach johnson bernd wiesberger gary woodland danny willett thongchai jaidee bill haas francesco molinari adam scott martin kaymer jimmy walker jamie donaldson keegan bradley phil mickelson henrik stenson matt kuchar justin rose rickie fowler jim furyk paul casey branden grace |

tiger woods never plays well when its wet and windy
shane lowry does |
By:
take this rickie fowler goes round in 64 on day 2 the chances of jordan spieth doing the same score in 20+ mph winds is less likely he would be happy with 72
By:
Are you joking or what ? of course the wind makes a difference it can kill a players winning chance stone dead.
This event is as I said 20/1 the field that's why you have seen 500/1 shots win in the past A player can take 10 on almost any hole. I am happy with my lay |
By:
what holes is that they can take 10 on then ?
By:
Do you not think a player has taken 10 on this course ?
If you look a the records you will see lots of players have taken ten before now on this course It happens believe me |
By:
That put on the 18th was like a dagger in the heart
I hope the wind gets up tomorrow |
By:
20 mph now causing chaos
tomorrow 28--35mph |

did tiger really start tournaments at 6/4? i've been punting golf for about 10 years and i can't believe he would be getting backed at that kind of price. as for speith, i'm really hoping he can deal with it, but so much can happen in the next 3 days, i totally agree with the sentiment of this post.
By:
Was as short as evs and 11/10 that I remember and for some majors 2/1 and 9/4 was the norm
By:
I am expecting Mr Spieth to drop down the field today as he will be going out to play when the wind is really going to blow

post your imaginary lay please.

i remember tiger being around evens for some tournaments like the memorial.
i can certainly recall him being 13/8 for a major. he was around 2/1 at every major for nearly a decade. to be fair, yes i did use wikipedia, at one point between 1999 and 2001 he won 5 out of 6 majors. going for a longer period, between his pga win in 1999 and us open win in 2008, he won 13 majors out of 35. and finished 2nd in another 5 of em. what price would you want him to be? |
By:
play suspended unlucky
By:
OK Lets be careful here we are in a good position so lets give ourselves every chance to win letting the bet run until he comes down in odds to 9 then we can get out
That's what I am going to do and I would advise any one who has followed me to do. |
By:
wasn't he as low as 3/1 ?
By:
He might have been as low as 3/1 but we were working on the weather being bad for the second round and waiting to see how that played out.
He is trading @ 13 at the moment |
By:
Big thread for a 1.12 tip.
By:
if he was putting well this week he would be within a couple shots of the lead.missed so many short ones. laid him at 4s but backed at 11 for stake back worst case scenario.
