can gomez get it done?..maybe by default 66 to finish - FELL OVER THE LINE ! |

that was a top performance it has to be said
showed those who continue to not get it done how to get it done..top man |

In the 57 events, only four, foreign-born players had been victorious. Westwood was the last to accomplish this.
Before him it was Gary Player, Greg Norman and Nick Price. ADD FABIAN GOMEZ. |
|
By:
in my book WW never won it..wasn't that when garrigus triple bogeyed and handed it to one of the most overrated golfers ever?
|
|
By:
In the last five years, three winners have won on their maiden voyage. Westwood (2010), Johnson (2012) and English (2013) are three of the seven players in 57 editions to do this. Harrison Frazar and Harris English are the only players in the last 20 years to break their TOUR maiden on this track.

Fabian Gomez tied for eighth at The McGladrey Classic in his first start of the 2014 season and followed that up with a T14 at the Sanderson Farms Championship and a T23 in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. The Web .com Tour graduate nabbed top 25s in each of his three starts on the 2014-15 PGA TOUR season to rank as high as 38th in the FedEx Cup standings at the winter break.
Further supporting that, the 36yo won the Personal Classic and finished alone in third at the 109º VISA Open de Argentina on the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica after the PGA TOUR went on hiatus but Gomez then slowly faded throughout the rest of this season not finishing inside the top 40 since January at the Humana Challenge. He had only three top 10s in 69 PGA TOUR starts before he descended in Memphis slotted 124th in the FedEx Cup standings. Fabian finally got the job done today as he cruised to 4-under-par 66 in the final round (13-under, 267), good for a four-shot win and his first PGA TOUR title. |

Gotta be brave backing Dusty at single figures pre tourney. Having more trouble than ever closing out, complete mental midget. None of the favourites reliable, set up nicely for a roughie. Taken Varner, Piller and Brown thus far all at 3 figures. Added Berger at 34s, and now Reifers.

Can't ignore Koepka's recent form in this... and willing to forgive him his epic choke a couple of weeks ago. He's my main bet at 12/1. Cant believe anyone could back DJ at these prices
![]() Two at better odds are Colt Knost at 40/1 who is a winner waiting to happen imo and has some decent bits of form here and also Bud Cauley at 80/1 who has been playing brilliantly the past month or so and is finally realising his potential. Cheers |

Can't find anywhere that David Toms has withdrawn?
|
|
By:
Read earlier that he had WD but change of heart so back in. David Toms – A two-time winner here, Toms has struggled of late at TPC Southwind. His recent form includes a top 25 in his last start. Minus his length, he’s actually still a very good statistical fit. He ranks 26th in strokes gained: approach-the-green, 16th in scrambling and 32nd in par 4 scoring average.
|
|
By:
Colt Knost (nb) - statistically an absolute perfect fit
Tim Wilkinson (nap) - this is his chance Martin Piller David Toms Justin Hicks Brian Stuard gl all |

Three weeks after he was named a relief defendant in a SEC lawsuit against well-known gambler Billy Walters, Phil Mickelson is once again in the news for reasons other than golf.
Another gambler, Gregory Silveira, was sentenced Monday to a year in jail after pleading guilty last year to three counts of money laundering on behalf of an unnamed client. Reporting on the case last year, ESPN's Outside the Lines alleged that Mickelson wired Silveira $3 million, who acted as part of "an illegal gambling operation which accepted and placed bets on sporting events." ![]() Although Mickelson was not specifically named in court documents, OTL reported that Silveira's intial plea agreement made reference to the "money laundering of funds from P.M." That reference was later stricken and replaced with an amended version of the plea agreement which did not mention any "P.M." Mickelson was not charged in either of the two cases mentioned, although he has agreed to repay a total $1,037,029.81, the profit (plus interest) he made off a stock tip from Walters concerning shares of Dean Foods. |
