Overnight leader David Lingmerth bobbed and weaved to an even-par 35-37=72 in the third round for 12-under, three shots off the pace of Justin Rose.
The 27-year-old Lingmerth began the third round at 12-under and held a one-shot advantage over Jason Dufner.  The Swede was runner-up twice on the PGA TOUR in 2013 and David finished 13th in Arnie's Bay Hill for his best finish in 2015.

but how are you under pressure if you know you have nothing to lose if you don't get it stiff. On the other hand tactically you at a huge advantage of the player going first takes himself out of the hole.

Do you think I have learned after all this time from the sages education. Not a bit of it. Went and done serious damage on bloody French Open today Quincy has drilled it into me not to be taking on short odds and off I go and back at 1.12. Serious hole now in the biscuit tin. Molinari I thought was the weakest link before his meltdown and I laid him straight and to finish top without Rose. That was logical. What I did was, as Mr. Spock would say was totally illogical. I will try get it through my thick head Quincy. Looking at golf and horses , they are my saviour all the year, this Memorial being best.By the way my friends, there are great deals to be had at undiscovered and famous course all over Ireland. A bit of advice is to keep away from tourist hot spots. Drive into anyclubhouse and they will be happy to give you local knowledge.

I take it you was on Djokovic then??? The thing is, if your 1.12 shot had've won, especially if it seemed easy, you wouldn't be left feeling so dumb??? Djokovic was murdering everybody, it was hard to see him not losing.

I came out this golf tournament with a £6 loss but I feel like I'm a winner. If DJ hadn't have started out so well yesterday it would've been much worse.

I really don't know how many times I need to witness this before it sinks into my thick head... "The market can go against you..." I should do 1000 lines on it!

Anyway, well done David Lingmerth backers
