Why would your lunch taste any different whether you make a bogey on the 18th or not ?According to Sky commentators 'he's not going to enjoy his lunch now' blah blah blah.
Has this being scientifically proven, Or does some official spotter on the Club House balcony tell the chef to add extra tabasco sauce or more salt to certain players dinners when they make a bogey or miss a 3 ft putt on the 18th.? |

Not tuned in long but checked the shot tracker initially. Where was the value. Taken a punt and laid a ton @ 4.5 on wee Rory. Hoping he goes the correct way soon and I can lay him back. Otherwise probably will sweat it out. Horses seeem to be funding my golf for a while. Had to stop at 6.30 pm this evening and went for a snooze. A lesson I have been learning. Dont punt when tired. Best of luck to all.

Russell Henley was eight-under (65-71) after two rounds last year and was in the hunt before 80 on Saturday killed any chances of contention. Instead of mailing it in he rebounded with 66 on Sunday to finish T17.
Zach Johnson racked up 9of10 weekends including his last six and found form last week in San Fran. MC at Harbour Town but fixed something because he rebounded to win two of three matches last week at Harding Park. With so many premium players struggling to figure this track out, Johnson has a nice risk-reward element this week. Branden Grace (Massive still at 25/1 and also in doubles with Coetzee and Hend) confirmed his reputation as one of the European Tour's best closers by carding a 6-under-par 35-31=66 to win the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Yes, a 31 back nine to claim his second title of the 2015 season and exemption into the limited field at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National for the fourth consecutive time by virtue of a top 10 in the Race to Dubai standings. GRACE is now ranked 40th in the OWGR, the third highest South African behind Louis #24 and Charl #39, and currently lies 5th in the RTD standings. A winner in three of his last eight worldwide starts - twice on the European Tour and recently on the Sunshine Tour - he is looking to transfer that success to the PGA TOUR. His title at the Dimension Data Pro-Am in his native South Africa contributes only to his earnings on the Sunshine Tour, but it's more proof that he's a flat-out winner. Grace followed a solo 54th at Doral with a T62 at Bay Hill and made his second career start at Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio playing on a foreign exemption to finish in 30th position. Shooting 75, 73 was a second MC at The Masters after a T18 in his first try in 2013. Added Louis Oosthuizen (OWGR #24 from No.30 last week) to those Mauritius Open doubles. He said last weekend he was healthy and feeling great and the results have backed that sentiment. He’s racked up four top 10s in seven events since early March and has only found four rounds over par during that stretch. He backed up his T19 at Augusta with T7 at RBC Heritage and was a beaten quarter-finalist last week at Harding Park beating scrappers Keegan & The Mechanic then Bubba & Fowler before going down to Smiley Jim. He’s eighth in SGTTG and ninth in SGT. He hits PLENTY of GIR and that’s a key this week. Was on my radar before 17/18 yesterday, losing 3 shots to the field - a big ask now. |

Now a plan comes together. Rory McIlroy now trading around 7.4ish so I can trade off some of what I laid at 4.5. Will sleep on how much exposure I wish to take. Quincy, will check email early Saturday. Sean Bohen is impressive. I have had a chance to assess him. Also admiring strong rides from G. Fox. Great ride in Down Royal earlier.

So so so annoyed with Henley's end of the round today. Finding water on 17 and 18 pretty unforgivable. He's my biggest bet of the week so annoying to see him end the round in that way, as it was painful having also backed Horschel and seeing him not able to make a putt at all on the back 9 and then when he finally did get back to 6 under, he proceeded to follow Henley in the water and then miss another 10 footer on 18. The day started off so promisingly and all for them both and all.
The less said about Matsuyama today I guess the better. He had a pretty average day out of nowhere by his standards lately. I hope that they can bounce back tomorrow anyway as this course really does punish you for silly errors. |

Hideki Matsuyama is second in total driving, third in ball-striking and fourth in the all-around. His maiden voyage here last year saw him hit the top 25 and put all four rounds at par or better. His worst finish in 2015 when hitting the weekend is T23. He was fifth at Augusta and after easily sweeping his group 3-0 to beat Levy, Luiten & Na, he was easily beaten himself 6/5 on Saturday morning in the round of 16 by our wee RORY. Had contemplated a bet but all the Irish Forum girls were on already and I don't do queues.

Looking forward to the weekend absolutely wide open and anybody who made the cut has a chance of winning if they can post 2 good rounds

Shot tracker has Tiger hitting it 105 yds off the tee on the second! this correct??

really good scoring, if it firms up and a little wind in the afternoon, might be even more bunched up

Anyone know what happened to Matsuyama off the 2nd? Got him down as a 130 yard drive to the rough?? I can't remember if there are trees off the drive on that hole which his drive could have hit? If not then I'm not sure how it's possible and hoping it will get updated from a Par to birdie! Lol.

There are trees on the left of the 2nd so if you go straight into them that length of drive is perfectly possible. Rory did the same thing yesterday.

Cashed out on Rory. Putting has taken a weekend off for him and there could be 20 or so players in front of him before nightfall. At least one of them will shoot a scorcher tomorrow. Well, a small profit is a profit none the lesalways see small profits s. Checked my golf activity and as usual , small profit nearly every week without a winner bar Speith. Unhappy that Lowry missed the cut. He needs dollars to retain his U.S. privileges. That is hard to pull off and contend as well. We will see does he put it together.

25 players within 4 shots on a course like Sawgrass where big swings happen at the drop of a hat. Round 4 is pure raffle golf.

lets be honest if garcia had putted blindfolded they,d be betting without the fav, will he putt better today or crumble under the pressure,i have him at 33,s and hass at 70,s both of them infamous for bottling it on payday, both of them ew 1st 6 but could easily finish out of the top 20 the way the field is gathered

Funny enough I've got decent greens on both of them too plus Horschel and Johnson if they could go low. Sergio's putting is a massive worry though tee to green he is playing great but his putting looks like it did 2 years ago
