Rose and Lefty just have to keep pace with Spieth thru the 1st 9....Rose has shown he loves the back 9 more and could make a move if close enough. I think it's still worth paying Spieth because the pressure builds around the turn. If those chasing fail to do their job then Spieth will piss it. And he deserves to win, let's be honest, but from a punting perspective the value was yesterday when he went under 1.20...that was just madness offering up those odds.......
Come on!! |

Speith drifts from 1.35 to 1.54 already........lovely,,,,,,,,of those that have finished nobody has really ripped the course up bar Jamie D with a 67....it's not wide open and is playing tight, so with a 3 shot gap over Rose it's clear this is far from over. Lefty is still in it. But it would be remarkable if anyone else gets a look in.

Makes it a bit more interesting, if Speith had made the birdie and Rose the par, the tourny would be virtually over. The difference between these 2 players over the first 3 days, has been the putting and now Rose has found his putting, anything might happen.

Easy be wise after the event , 1.2 was correct price at the time |

Biffo2010...disagree 100%...
how can you say it was the correct odds??? what calculation is being used? Is there a standard formula for this?...BF is driven by opinion of the crowds and the major bookmakers....it's often hype , panic, and ignorance that create the odds on here...just joe public having a punt. This is Augusta and anyone who knows golf knows it's impossible to predict what will happen. As the double bogey showed. For those who just do it by numbers then maybe you saw the odds being correct, but you need to factor in knowledge as well, and that's where the rest of us get the opportunities to take advantage of the 'wrong' odds. That's why sports betting is so much better, in my opinion. It's easy to put up a book for the start of a competition or race, but once you are in play, especially in golf, it goes way beyond any formula for calculating odds. |

Has the feeling of a hard held win for Spieth. Seems fair enough he's played the best all week too wouldn't like to see him chuck it away from here despite me thinking he was too short at the outset

Its all about opinions i suppose, if u check the graph there was money matched at 1.16 so 1.20 was about right at that particular time imo |

yeah you'll always get the uninformed desperate moneybuyers who will pile in and overreact because they think it's a sure thing

Fowler looking like he's going to post another top 10 in a major without ever threatening to win. Following him over a cliff starting to wonder if he is going to be one of those frustrating players tho

shocker from Justin with Spieth out of position.

there aren't enough contenders queueing behind Speith for him to feel any terrible pressure
