Honestly can't remember as many eagle putts inside 20 feet as I've seen today
I like the kid and think he is an astonishing talent but for the last 4 tourneys he constantly shouts at balls like he has hit bad shots only to see them inside 10ft. Either he is a bad judge or he is on the wind up
I wonder if he encourages himself like that when putting away the Mrs or local cocktail waitress...

It's not too easy. Far from it. Has always been the scoring major. Last year Bubba was -8 and won by 3. Golf courses are living and breathing entities, are never the same day to day let alone year to year. Give any of these courses a nice soaking these guys will rip em to pieces. Can't help the weather. Don't touch the course, it is as close to perfection as a course could be.
layed at 1.03... a wee bogey and a birdie in the right direction next hole would be a pretty decent outcome

Super quick greens are harder to hold. If they're firm it brings all the swales and bumps off the greens into play. All those subtleties that people are saying don't exist... they do. Again, if any of the tour courses are soft, these guys will rip em to shreds.
Most refurbs are butchers jobs anyway. Look what they did to Doral because it was getting outstripped by technology. If anyone did that to Augusta it would be a travesty.

Some reached -17 on old balls and clubs.....amazing how they did it back then.

nothing much you can do about it, over the years the masters has been a putting comp, they added length but technology has recouped that and without wind its is/was/will be a putting comp.

it's 5 places WH, worse if you've backed both DJ and Casey ew (Casey with one of 'em paying 6 places) and you've just seen Dusty birdie the last, still fail to make the top 5 but also deprive you of some of your return on Casey in the process.
