It's all seeded money, so you really have to take the advertised price.  You also pay commission on bets, win or lose.  If you're straight up punting, probably worth having a go elsewhere, but if you're trading prices then Betfair is the place to be still.

I didn't pass up SJ price ... I just hadn't backed him when I posted my first pic

How are you still getting on at SJ?  I was under the impression that they were one of the worst for shutting people down, especially if you're consistently taking 50/1 on a 33/1 shot.

Rarely bet with them or take 50/1 shots that should be 33/1

Looking at yesterday it was definitely much harder for the afternoon starters, of the 32 players under par only 11 came from the afternoon and 7 of them are at 1 under. It was also mentioned in an interview on the pga site.

So I've laid off my players for the afternoon and put it on Bradley, Stefani, Henley, Haas, Simpson, Molder, McNeill, Tringale and a few others at big prices. Just need some to perform and Bubba and DJ to not run away and it will be happy days all round.

Guaranteed it won't work out like that. Probably the total opposite Laugh

The way the greens are already, if there's no rain over the weekend it could be close to impossible, could see some serious US Open scores.

I have a bloody good wedge on Goosen (3k)at 44 and this week am going to lay off my stake.

Last week I backed Watney when he was 25 and he went as low as 3.35. The week before I backed Vegas at 40 and he went down to something like 6.8. I let both bets run which in hindsight was ****g stupid.

Wise imo.

Graham DL my best hope so far although I have 2-3 others hunting around.

Another low score would be cracking but will be very tough the next 2 rounds.

Dunno what brainiac figured we'd rather watch blanket coverage of one group rather than one of the best holes in the world.

I rather watch many groups doing many holes.

BTW i'm talking about golf so no 'funny jokes.'

From PGA site.

Retief Goosen was the surprise 36-hole leader at the Northern Trust Open. Will he win?
No - 87.4% (869 votes)
