Was like watching a 28 handicapper chopping around last week. I still think Tiger can bounce back to his best at some point this year but not this week so 50/1 isn't tempting me!

Hall of Famer and San Diego native Gene Littler is the only amateur winner, achieving the feat in 1954, and awarded a five-piece tea set.[6] Subsequently as a professional, Littler was a runner-up three times (1969, 1974, 1978). A memorable year in the tournament's history was 1982, when Johnny Miller outdueled Jack Nicklaus to win by one stroke. Tiger Woods (2005–08) won four straight years, then won the 2008 U.S. Open on the South Course in June. J. C. Snead (1975–76) and Phil Mickelson (2000–01) won in consecutive years. Heavyweight boxer Joe Louis was invited to play in the San Diego Open in 1952 on a sponsor's exemption; Louis became the first African American ever to play in this PGA Tour event |

Baddeley, Kj and Seung Noh for me

I felt the 28 on here for Justin Rose was fair considering the form he has been in the last 18 months. Felt he has some reasonable rounds in the farmers in the past and should be shorter price. I was expecting him to be favourite or 2nd favourite and no bigger than 20s ish.

|
By:
Luke Donald is tempting me in at 100/1. surely far too big for such a player even if he has been in and out of form!
|
|
By:
Think Torrey Pines is too much golf for Luke, definitely favors a longer hitter.
|
|

Berger again for me with homa and ortiz my early picks. More to follow

when are tee-times expected to be displayed?

havr my bet for next week so will watch him with interest think horshels price is big class him somewhat like bradley bit of a head the ball but a dogged determination,,,,well see i dont mind dabbling sat if im wrong bit strategy is one decent bet from outset and bit of trading sat/sun..... cant have sneds at current price..............gd luck to all players |

Can i make a case for Paul Casey?
Scoring average - 70.84 (67th) Driving distance - 306yds (8th) Driving accuracy - 64% ( 69th) G.I.R - 75% (8th) scrambling - 44% (218th - LAST) Putts per round - 30 (186th) So basically, if he misses the green i'm screwed and if he does make a GIR he cant putt so im double screwed. ![]() steadyish season so far - 37th and 30th and opened Hawaii with a 62. upwards of 70% all year so far for GIR. Had a shocking week last week at Humana on the Par 3's shooting +6 and was -10 for the par 5's. should be 310, however is 110 and but i'll have a throw at the stumps for him making some noise - i.e trading position. |

Team of four for me...
Spieth Rose DeLaet Donaldson Big JD looks value at 80-1 imo. Also have backed him Top European at 11-1 and Top GB&Ire at 8-1. |
|
By:
Pulled off a few trades this week and backed a few others.
Spieth +35 Fowler +1154 Leishman +954 Watney +1654 Noh +1454 Baddeley +1015 the yak +861 Tringale +1125 the field -45 $25 on both Spieth and Sneds for first round leader. Both can get real hot, finished last week well, can play the venue and are on the North course Thursday which basically takes out half the field. Great event to play 1st round leader market. |
|
By:
Kevin Chappell 100/1 E/W. Doesn't exactly have any decent form here, in fact he's been poor, but the price looked too big to me. Steady start to the season, and if he can hole a few putts I can see him being a factor come Sunday.
Keegan Bradley 50/1 E/W. Again, price looked big. Did OK here last time out, and his ability off the tee is a definite plus sign. Good luck. |
|
By:
Snedeker 28/1. Past winner coming back into form. Top player at his best.
Bradley 50/1. Also had a tickle on Brian Harman and Troy Merritt. |
