I am Aussie vegas and yes some buggies have seats. Not really common anymore, they were pretty widespread when I was a little tacker in the 80s, pretty much everyone had them then. Not sure why they're not in the UK, never really thought about it.

what it is - in true lazy man style i bought an electric trolley off ebay last night - now it was well underpriced, but even so what sealed the deal was it has a little seat attached to the side!!! even lifts up to store stuff inside.
