Just the basics in case anyone's having a crack at the european this week
venue, -Golf Club Torino - 7,208 yard par 72
Narrow fairways, Tree lined / Parkland course.
Very dense and punishing rough
Greens not too bad - Big but not severe more gradual movement.
Flat course with a few bunkers but little water to speak of.
Nothing really stands out from last years visit here for me, things indicate that accuracy is important but in my eyes its more an all round game, not favouring any particular element.
The winning score last year was -12 only seven players hitting double figures, which would say it's far from an easy course - altho i have took an approach that this course gives lots of chances and feel scores will be alot lower this year, just my personal view.
Am already in with Eduardo molinari for this, was in on sun/mon grabbed some 30+ - The brothers grew up playing here and know this course inside out, saw a quote of eduardo's during a 4 shot win here in 2009 - "I play here nearly every day when I’m at home, so I know the course very well." .
with his 2nd in the Irish open and his 7th at hoylake i believe he's playing the best of the brothers and may well runaway with this, 25/1 still a great price imo.

you are welcome sandsave - to get a post on a european thread before the final day is a success lol, there is very little interest, everyone loves the names, and the names follow the money, hence the pga gets 99% of the focus on here.

just need to hit fairways round here, if you aren't hitting it straight off the tee you are going to struggle
Hennie Otto storming today -6 thru 9 so far today!!! 
must have it set up for scores rafa -8 thru 14 and other -5 -6 .
doesn't count due to placing but 4 shots better than the course record!!

Hope Stephen makes the Ryder Cup team on merit, would be extremely disappointing if McGinley doesn't pick him if he fails to finish top 2. Would be great to have a scot on the team.

How the f does that work he makes a crap shot and gets a free drop to make the shot 100 times better
From the original spot he had a path and a bunker in his way he get's a free drop to make the shot 100% clear come on golfers explain that for me
Pros play different rules ,cheating is encouraged.They all do it.Lord knows what they get up to when the cameras are away.

Is it just me or is anybody else singing the old spitting image song "ive never met a nice south african" after that ruling? It was the correct ruling tho cos it came back to its original spot but Otto should have told his partner.
I think he is very lucky that McFee gave the ruling and not Paramore
never knew that and seems is a proper rule, that u can touch the ball , have it rested against the ball before u make backswing.

seen penalties given for exactly the same thing in past tournaments,some rules in golf are plain daft,if hed done that off the tee it would have been enough to knock the ball off the peg
fellow scot helping out stevie g , missing the birdies, he could get that auto spot yet!
barrow - just read thats actually allowed aswell, tapping ball on a tee and it falls off is no penalty.
