Just the basics in case anyone's having a crack at the european this week
venue, -Golf Club Torino - 7,208 yard par 72
Narrow fairways, Tree lined / Parkland course.
Very dense and punishing rough
Greens not too bad - Big but not severe more gradual movement.
Flat course with a few bunkers but little water to speak of.
Nothing really stands out from last years visit here for me, things indicate that accuracy is important but in my eyes its more an all round game, not favouring any particular element.
The winning score last year was -12 only seven players hitting double figures, which would say it's far from an easy course - altho i have took an approach that this course gives lots of chances and feel scores will be alot lower this year, just my personal view.
Am already in with Eduardo molinari for this, was in on sun/mon grabbed some 30+ - The brothers grew up playing here and know this course inside out, saw a quote of eduardo's during a 4 shot win here in 2009 - "I play here nearly every day when I’m at home, so I know the course very well." .
with his 2nd in the Irish open and his 7th at hoylake i believe he's playing the best of the brothers and may well runaway with this, 25/1 still a great price imo.

Website says Daniel Vancsik won Italian Open in 2009. FRANCESCO Molinari won by 4 shots 2006 ??

you are welcome sandsave - to get a post on a european thread before the final day is a success lol, there is very little interest, everyone loves the names, and the names follow the money, hence the pga gets 99% of the focus on here.
