never knew that and seems is a proper rule, that u can touch the ball , have it rested against the ball before u make backswing.
doesn't apply here imo as the ball moved but gunna try that next time i play. |

seen penalties given for exactly the same thing in past tournaments,some rules in golf are plain daft,if hed done that off the tee it would have been enough to knock the ball off the peg

barrow - just read thats actually allowed aswell, tapping ball on a tee and it falls off is no penalty.
