Jim not at his best chasing - (not leading either), time to give up on him me thinks, too methodical.

Where the feck did this scoring come from today?
By:
Jim has got to change something - the routine is the same shot after shot and he just misses the same old putts shot after shot when it matters - just speed up a little perhaps.
By:
all over bar the wotsits.
By:
To be fair, Jim is 44. He is outgunned in practically every department bar his wedge play. The fact he is still performing at this level is a credit to him.

nice hugs

By:
bito very excited
By:
true, when you watch him you wonder how he does as well as he does.
By:
This isn't over yet, Mahans wife could still go into labour
By:
There does not seem to be a player in such good form as Jimbo at the moment but it counts for nothing if you dont have it between the head - there is always someone going to come out of the pack every week and he is not going to get over the line just plodding along - when he takes chances he f*cks it so I dont seen anyway for him to convert.
By:
Too late for jimbo to change. As rhino says fair play that he is so consistent still, but no longer a winner.
By:
weird how we hardly see mahan play a shot
By:
counts for a few million quid, always a great motivator :))
By:
But Jim still has many more tournaments in him, by changing he has nothing to lose as he aint winning anyway. Perhaps he just believes one day it will click - I just cant see it.
By:
Jimbo could win one soon as the field shrink every week. In a field of 30 he could be favourite.
By:
i put a stat up a bit earlier, he's done very well, and thats final round stuff, but yeah suppose it'll be pi$$ing him off lately!!
By:
I could still see Jim maybe winning at somewhere like Harbour Town where length means nothing. He is a plodder and has to play like one, hard to revolutionise your game at 44. If he does get a win again it will have to be at a track like HT that suits his game perfectly and evens the playing field between him and the younger guys. Hard for him to beat the young guys over 4 days on thesse mammoth tracks.

hes probably saving it till the last one to pocket the 10mill, cagey old sod!
By:
what a view!
By:
hell of a town
By:
could well be!!
can't see it being very long b4 he gets it, the way he's playing, he'll runaway with one and be free and clear for the final round pretty soon. |
By:
yeah one hell of a town
By:
the last few holes when you know whos probably gonna win are so painfully slow. get it over already.
