interesting stat of the day:

rickie has had 5 top 5 finishes in majors and won none
rory has only had 7 and won 4. thats an incredible conversion rate by anybodys standards.

Is Rory talented enough to be considered the greatest golfer in history one day?

if ive added it up right, tiger has 30 top 5 finishes with 14 wins. so rory has a higher conversion rate than tiger has.
tiger 46% conversion, rory 57%. though obviously tiger has tailed off, not having won any of his last top 5 finishes. plus had 3 T6 in that run too.

Monty a far better player never to win a major than westwood

westy a cracking player but monty a different animal - was consistently one of the best players in the world - westwood a nearly man

Winner market is always Group B i think, i don't play the other golf markets but perhaps they're in different groups.

Lord knows why

Well I had greened hard on Rory, with the intent of trading out more when he pulled some back.  Then I fell asleep and missed the end.  It was certainly nice to wake up to though.  That is me done from big bets, I am going back to max exposure £25 for £2 bets.   GG all

It's been Group B for at least 10 years, just a bug in the system they have never fixed.

Seems from reading about it, fowler and mickelson let him play up his second shot too to try and get the match completed last night.  That was well played by them

Yes Forest, light was ebbing away. It was a shame it had to finish in such a rushed manner. Rory nearly lost his drive on the 18th into the lake and then had to rush it up, chip it out of the bunker and 2 putt. Almost as soon as Rory slotted in the 5 incher for victory the stars came out.

"We are very appreciative of Cameron coming forward to inform us of this situation," said PGA of America Chief Championships Officer Kerry Haigh. "It yet again shows the great values and traditions of the game and the honesty and integrity of its competitors.”

Spot on.
