Really hope that Sergio wins from here, for his sanity if nothing else.

funny how im going to at best make a 3,550 quid loss yet im not too unhappy. ive learned a valuable lesson in what to do and what not to do.

dont get me wrong, im pretty gutted. but on the bright side im still in profit on the golf for the past month (only just, like) and ive learned a valuable lesson. lost a small fortune doing something i dont usually do, tried it out and it didnt work. you never get anywhere without finding these things out i suppose.

In the US - Wyndham 2012, have to go back to 2008 for the one prior to that.

not my style unfortunately. i dont lose very often, but when i do its usually a right old humdinger! i only normally bet on the majors when it comes to golf, bit bored with the football and cricket so thought id have a crack at betting on the golf more often. made a modest 450 profit on the canadian open, but this week has been mostly a series of **** ups. at least its glaringly obvious where i went wrong. much worse when you lose money, but dont have a clue what went wrong.

i gotta be grateful for small mercies and make sure i learn from it. whats the alternative, beat myself up over it? whats that poem about treating success and failure as the imposters they are?? been betting nearly 25 years, had a gazillion wins and a gazillion losses before now. its not like a big loss is gonna kill me off, just p1ss me off. when you start letting it get to you, thats when you lose even more money trying to make up for it. just have to take it on the chin, draw a line under it, learn from it and regroup.

Just sitting there a while trying to take a view of the Invitational. Im going to call it a match from day one with the 2 in form Europeans. Then I think..... where does Rory find 3 shots. So I settle on a tight finish which rules out backing too short. But then I think... Rory is driving so well he could easily gain 2 from Sergio there. Then I look at that stat........ in putting from somewhere like 170 all the way to top of the pops. Could last year enter Sergios mind coming down the back straight or maybe one on the front nine. Entirely possible. So a close finish with World class gold to be seen.

G Mac is trying to impress McGinley for his place on the Ryder Cup team. I would have him a captains pick one way or another. Remembering some matchplay event earlier in the season. Graeme was playing average golf and most could not finish him off. Terrific match player. But will be trying to impress Paul in the studio today. Tiger is descending into a bit of a lout for a world class golfer. Nike have only so much patience.

Although I think Harris English may turn out to be the more all round pro. Certainly there is a queue of caddies trying to get the job on his bag.

If I've worked the times out right, about an hour until the back markers tee off, then another six before the leaders start.
I'm with Ski, it could be boring.  Basically, if you're not with Sergio or Roryo, you not likely to win.

Not all green, but Woodland is my first red.  Can't really trade, so I'm stuck.  Leishman and Scott the best of the top six, Rory twice as good as Sergio.  Good luck with yours.Happy

just so u know theres another tournament where theres roughly 20 odd people could theorecticly win!!! but if u simply can't force yourself to watch golf without the big guns - top ten always a good place to re-ignite the betting passion!

watching the bubba/tiger 2 ball live from the website.

conditions will really benefit the long hitters, ball not going anywhere either when it lands.

Yes,Rory will love these conditions, looks like target golf.

Bubba has had short birdie putt after short birdie putt.  there is no wind and the fairways will be wider.

cant see Sergio as a lay personally, if you fancy him to get beat I reckon better value to back rory, hard tp see beyond the pair of them. I fancy Sergio to get the job done.

His long game was not great on the back 9 yesterday.

as long as he sorts that out for today he will have lots of birdie opportunities.

Do Scott or Bradley have a chance of getting close or would you say it's a 2 horse race. Thought maybe Scott playing with a fellow Aussie could mount a charge and close the gap but most likely to far behind. Or maybe not Confused

A low score is feasible so anything can happen.
