Tiger 17s at Firestone
And it's not enticing
Love this event, love the course, Firestone top shelf for me, reckon it's one of the best on Tour. Had a few early prices to start the week:
Rory 8.4 - Same price as PGA but in a limited field on a course he plays well
Stenson 27/28 - Use 3 wood all week on these tight fairways please big fella, don't even pack the driver.
Kuchar 36 - More than fair for Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Charl 80 - A tad big perhaps.
Silly season is officially upon us, Firestone this week, PGA next week and then the 4 playoff events to come. Happy days

When you play well you get lucky.Think Tiger had a 5 year run where he never finished behind a tree.
Murray willing Sergio to miss.
Bruces arithmetic is also sadly lacking.

not even possible to cut a lead of 3 in half whatever the scores
im sure Bruce said Phil had all his birdies today at one hole.
a complete clown.
a complete clown.
bubba, 'i'm prayin for him'. lol.
actually i think bubba wasnt pointing at tiger's ball he was pointing at the clubhouse (a la cricket)

rhino if you start talking about his childlike innocence i'll have to punch you in the nuts
wow. sergio happy in love and then parts a lady with her diamond ring?
unreal. first time rose quartz trumps a diamond...

'diamond in the rough' I love Feherty. one of my favourite commentators in any sport.
Sergio you are a true gent. Asked for her number so he can replace it. Top shelf.
His drive hit a womans hand and dislodged the diamond from her ring which is lost in the rough. Asked for her number so he can get her a new one.
meanwhile all savvy women are currently planning on wearing 'rockless' rings to golf tourneys and then try and get near a ball....
Leishman shouting fore and getting his reward - well played
i thought i would leve it a few holes before i backed rory at the turn...that worked well
Just done herself out of a free diamond there. Rookie mistake.
garcia is a natural born loser, he just cannot get the job done ever!
wow. fiding that ring was like when you don;t want to find your ball and your douche partner finds it
i'm watching seniors tour coz i'm on lernhard.
lucky brendan steele muppeted his round or i'd be ruing the lack of coverage of that tourney....

if we have to send someone back in time to find sarah connor, we should send lernhard. he's the frickin terminator!

Sky need to change to nearly live so far behind they are these days
Evan Murray is doing my head in..... Rory's first bad drive today......what about 1 and 6????
And no shout as it flies in to the crowd. He would be slating Tiger for that.
those ppl who stand so close alongside a shot are nuts. one slip and one of em are dead
Tries to justify that by saying it was a blind tee shot. Even more reason to shout fore imo.
COMMENTATERS "don't be surprised if he gets it" I so wish that this could be true and I didn't know 5 minutes beforehand I'm not even gambling only glanced at computer !!
really p1sses me off how these guys save par from stupid places.
sky coverage infuriating.... ryder cup snippets not appreciated
the tv coverage for this event has been rubbish, been more filling in with ryder cup plugs than i can ever recall.
what's the deal with Sky over there? Do they do their own broadcast? In Oz we just get the straight up CBS broadcast.
Think they mix it a bit ,noticed sometimes you post before we have seen the shot.
cbs, normally they have less breaks on the final day back 9, not today.
they keep sying rorys played brilliant, but is it me or has he been incredibly lucky ith the drives into the trees, even his 1st birdie came from under the trees .
Great to see Geoff back in the winners circle. Aussies are having quite a season.
sickoflayinwinners....I was thinking the same thing before but I thought it was just me because i'm on Sergio!
that couldn't have wound up worse there, in th bunker would have been fairly simple
Was it just me or was that blonde girl on the tee doing some serious grooming for Rory's benefit
Noticed that blonde eyeing up Rory. Looked as if she was standing with her man too, tart.
Over par today is a shocking effort from Sergio.Rory gave him a chase in the middle of the round and as usual he's found wanting.
Didn't take long

Ewan Murray tells us to savour the rivalry between McIlroy and Garcia. What rivalry?
Garcia has no backbone, he accepts the runner up prize far too easily.

have to agree, on another day, there was at least 3 bogeys in that round without bounces not even to just get a shot they ended up smack bang on the fairway.
not to say the lads not fooking awesome but could've easily gone another way last night!
