Depends on the weather conditions wheather it will be 54 holes or 72. If the weather remains the same it could be 36 holes. I remember the Nissan Open in 2005 when Adam Scott was declared the winner after only 36 holes.

Its doubtful, but if they got a clear enough run today, they will surely risk playing for the 72. Over 13 hours daylight, they would be able pick a slot tomorrow, probably early, and get it done. Hopefully so anyway, coz otherwise Crane is gone beyond recall.
Bets on here void if 36,...but bookies differ from firm to firm I think. |

The market is in Limbo until the decision is made, if its 54 holes Crane will probably trade less than 2 but if 72 holes he would trade at 3.5 but these would change depending how well or bad round 2 goes for the players still to post a score

Forecast looks clear though until 4pm their time, which gives them 9 hours run at it. Will be slow with lift, clean and place, but the third round should be underway an hour or so, before any potential trouble. With still 4 hours light left at that stage, hopefully they can get a couple in around any electrical activity. If that forecast is to be believed, they may have a better chance than I thought of getting 72 in.

The weather hub on PGA site. Forecast suggests no risk of thunderstorms til 4pm, with not a huge chance of rain before that. Obviously it could prove to be totally wrong, but there also has to be the chance that they dodge the thunderstorms until later.

therhino, I think you're about everyone having given up. If it's 54 holes, Crane will take some catching. If it's over 72, he's priced about right. Although he still has 36 or 54 holes to play, Big Phil at 11/1 to lay is almost a steal being 9 behind. Davis Love missed a 2ft birdie putt on the 5th (his 14th) and then bogied two of the last three. I'm getting bad vibes, so I'm going to lay what I can of my greens and take a loss. Both green. Crane €12 and the Field €15. Impossible to know what to do until they make a statement on 3 or 4 rounds. When was the last time a PGA tournament was curtailed ?

Can save about 55% of my stake the worst way. What's really annoying and has been annoying me since Thursday is that I looked long and hard at Ben Crane @ 250 and just couldn't make myself push the button.

thats why i used ladbrokes for golf bets,especially dodgy weather ones, they dont void regardless of rounds played just on the declared winner, so aslong as they play 36 and decide to delare ben creane the winner im happy
