i know i know silly early but like to try and sneak some value at this stage, dont think my records the best but fully believe there is value to be had on the mon/tues beforehand.

will be more detailed when markets are formed weds time but in a nutshell for me u need - driving accuracy top priority combined with GIR (every course in the world seems this to be needed suppose with obv reasons) pretty much a flat course with plenty of water hence the DA.

Anyway my stab at a player who i think will shorten but tbh i'll prob not trade cos i fancy him for this bigtime is Bradley Dredge @ 80/1
in top form right now and has everything needed to take this.

my other two early plays are - A. gee @350/1 arghh this one may go horribly wrong pricewise and del a riva @ 40/1 just think he'll start lower.

Always nice to see Dredge doing well but i would not consider 171st in Race to dubai and 76 in final round yesterday" as top form".

As in right now not the season- stats last 2 torneys are very good.

dredge hasn't done much on the challenge tout nor did he win on the euro pro tour in his couple of starts. That said he seems to be moving in the right direction after a couple of horrendous years. This is basically a challenge tour event so he could contend.

fair play opinions is a part of why gambling fun to me

it is very difficult to pick out value in as u say tantamount to a challenge tour event, and was taken into consideration with my picks.
hoping found one too big altho course is not really his most possitive but a bit better player than most of these imo.

jbe kruger @ 100/1

oh and i hold very little regard for race to dubai rankings they are very skewed imo such as there is no real judgement in dredge as he only has 3 events.

cant get a bet annoying me now,the bookies are matching betfair nion like for like which obv makes bf very poor value.
this plan of taking some early stuff is not going well, you layers gotta loosen up tommorow!! Grin

lol i'm really bored, family in bed,no betting, films not for me,so i'm gunna jutify my dredge bet or try :)

he's always been really good with the irons tremendous record over the years, and putting always up there - imo one of those who just can!

then comes for me his fatel flaw Driving accuracy he's always been pants all over the shop and he's been around 10+ years albeit seems for a couple of years he lost his game completly.

NOW THIS YEAR - everything s good with the irons but he's gone from poor to pretty bloomin good with his driving acuracy 23rd.

he's played 4 events on euro tour one top ten one top 20 and a 25th- last year he never even topped fortied all of it.

and lastly - from wat i see this is quite an easy putting course so with him good anyway this could well be his comeback torney deffo think its coming soon!

he's found summat IMO

good luck Happy

oh ps - nordea last week Dredge ranked 1st in driving acuracy and 11th in GIR including his final round 76!!

well no damage with the early picks/trades pretty much as u were.

kinda made my picks for the week now but as its so early may end up with a bigger team i'll see

B.Dredge - main bet

de la riva - hoping a bit of trading but will leave some e/w for punt

A gee - great stats of late for this course ,again trade a little if poss but @ 350/1 u are gunna win lots if the bet came good. win-ew/top ten

C Lee - not sure where this DA and iron plays come from but if it holds has a big chance of breaking into the winners circle for the 1st time. 66/1 win-ew

P Archer - again just another who seems to be in a rich vein of form driving n iron play spot on and with the playable greens u never know. win-ew/top ten

Byeong hun chang - kids got some talent and again with softer greens gotta have a hope, little dissapointed only 100/1 will hold out for a while see wat happens - ew/top ten

will cover k horne and ss choprasia cos i have a sneaky suspition of summin about em (?)

Good luck all - altho seems the forum are very pro american rather than euro, but i'm the opposite tbh.

yeah too old n grey to be bothered about popularity lol - i'm enjoying myself tbh,and if i'm being honest part of my decision to start posting on here was to riegn in my disapline and not end up backing 50+ players etc lol.
dipped my toe in the pga last night but i'm thinking its a bad week for a few reasons not to go all in with my stats,1- half of em will be "tweaking" for next week and 2- too hard nion half the bl00dy field have form at the course ,top tens etc.

Right i'll wrap up the "early play trade punt" esp seen as were kinda now out of the early play period and now for the fun :)

Dredge - price seems to be holding @80 still think he'll be shorter by the off

a.gee - just under my 350 but i dont think for long maybe drift

de la riva - into 33/1 most places my 40/1 safe think he may start shade under 30

jbe kruger - 90/1 in one place 90 on here so happy 10 points will do

all in all went ok - mind that dosent really make me any real money - still need one of em to win!! Happy

When: 04 Jun 14 10:04
aye - will just have to lay him again if he goes under 11/2 -he just aint hitting tee to green like in previous years, actually do rate him as a golfer but in this instance too short imo.
