toberaheena, Have sent a text. First one in the 2.15. Each way in the yankee, and small win bet.

That was painless. Winnings on Rory at 12.5, against my better judgement really, but I'll go with Ski and Toberaheena.

If it stays wet Mcilroy and Couples and maybe even Westwood. Needs to be wet to hide Rorys
poor putting...he is miles ahead of the rest.

Rory hasn't won in the US since August 2012.

One of the few who could blow the field away at his best but its been a while since we saw that. Personally I would be more concerned with his left tee shot under pressure than his putting.

McIlroy drives the ball better than anyone in golf, even better than Couples, of course when
you are so talented little glitches can still appear....but he must not try and correct this
do not tamper with anything in Mcilroys game except maybe putting, and even there.

Adam Scott is the best driver these days. Far better than Rory. Rory hits it a mile but far too erratic to be labelled the best driver. Not sure what you could base that off.

Scott is a very fine driver also, but his is a slightly manufactured swing...
Mcilroys is the finest since Sam Snead.

Manufactured swing? It is a work of art.
Best since Snead? Plain silly.

Best driver in golf?  Oh , hang on, it's the day before a major so they have arrived from the football forum. Scott is the best driver in golf. Hope that helps!

Scotts swing although one of the very best has flaws, McIlroys comes as close as possible to not having
any.

What flaws does  Scott's swing have? This should be interesting!

Starting with his set up to the ball, it is not correct.

His body is not the right shape, his stance and back is too straight.

What's wrong with his swing then? You started telling us about his set up. What's wrong with it?

Look if you don`t set up correctly to the ball, and i don`t mean everyone is the same,
take say Trevino who was superb but also different. But it can be compared to different styles for a
footballer, they all look different but there are certain fundamentals that they must have.

Its strange but if we can compare it again to football, take Ashley Cole, he has reached the
very top in football and yet he has never learned how to kick a football in the correct way..
not really.

And they say there is a recession. I shudder to think of the total amount that will be wagered on this one competition. It must be so wonderful to play in the Masters but I can imagine it may be a sleepless night for the 1st timers. I myself, in anticipation , am really looking forward to a great competition. And the more I look at the field, the more open it appears to be. Will it be a stalwart with a load of experience or maybe, as G. Mac Dowell , one of the newer players on tour. Prices should be really double checked by anyone having a bet. There are so many offers and even a bookie or 2 taking a little chance. But remember. The bookies computer software only needs enough turnover to realise a profit and turnover is aplenty this week.

Speith, Reed and Rory in their 3 ball. Rory smiling to himself in the interview on PGA website. He is the experienced one of the 3 at his ripe young age. Did you see the putt the Mrs. sunk in Augusta yesterday ( it must have been 40 feet and no fluke). on greens that were probably 14 on S metre. She may have a golf career ahead when she realises that she is is not playing top tennis anymore. Between the 2 of them, they are raking in the dough from marketing etc.

Huh just took about 10 minutes to play a straightforward "recovery" shot . What sort of example and spectacle is that ?  And called a rules official , who hopefully just told him to get on with it .
