Another tough one to predict with Conway Farms hosting for a Tour event for the first time. Had previously never heard of it. Taken the course tour online, fairly open and if the rough isn't too penal I think we'll see some low scoring. Fancy the bombers to take the course on, with plenty of bail out areas looks like a layout to be aggressive on.

Indeed it will. The weather is set fair.

Oosterhuis is getting increasingly boring...time to ship him out...Livingstone needs guests who can help him pad out the long lulls between play...maybe someone like Tony Jacklin would be a better call...all he would have to say is RYDER CUP and he could leave Jacklin to it for 2 hours.

Hate not being able to watch. Traded a bit, don't wanna be greedy and take on Mr September after having a rethink. Keeping Sneds the biggest as would be right p1ssed to wake and see him win having not honoured the gut in some way. Found my happy place.

S.Stricker +£164.39
B.Snedeker +£282.29
T.Woods +£134.08
Z.Johnson +£92.52

Liability -£320.85

I never intended to get involved in this at all.
My only interest was a Fiver on Stroud at the start at 750.
When Furyk Bogeyed the 18th on Saturday might, and Mr. Tiger was sitting there at 11.5 well, the temptation was just too much.
You find me now, up to my oxsters in liability.

My loss of €28.09 on Zach. Small loss but I ducked Fuyrk payout. But small losses every week are unacceptable. Have to rethink my strategy. Number one is I need a bigger bank. Could have made a very nice profit off Jim. Nice to see Luke Donald there. Did Sergio make it ? All the pros have been saying Zach was a winner waiting to happen. As McCririch says, ''they knew''.
Report alwaysontilt September 16, 2013 7:42 PM BST

Laid €40 @ 20.s after backing Zach €100 at 7.8 at different stages. An unfortunate decision. Tiger will be upset that he has no Sergio next competition. Anyway I think Sergio has enough PGA  played for one year. Licking his lips I would say for Gleneagles. McGinley will know that too.

rhino i hadnt read this thread since my post on page one. now i read the whole thing and you had a great tourney.
i'm boring now. i hardly trade and let things ride. i've switched to backing and letting ride and doing much better overall thus far just following sportinglife's tips mixed with my own. joost and havret ew was gold and it wasnt even ben coley. his name escapes me.
i think this method is more fruitful for me anyway :)

too much flopping about just made less sense for me in the end and did my head in with all the spewing after incorrectly flip flopping and eroding profits etc.

i dont know how it is the less golf i watch the more i make. this is a conundrum as i like to watch golf. but having looked through all my bets i would have been better off not trading the times where i have actually picked the winner pre off this year and others. i was too attached to being all square as my worst result instead of like a -50 or something. you live you learn.

Cheers poke. Was a stress free week, profit seemed in the bag Thurs. Still can't get the hold/trade thing right, have given away some decent cash this year greening, but around the last time we debated this I had Bubba pre off at the travelers and took a loss having him at odds on round 3 and then very short round 4, and refused to lay off Zach at Deere Run in the same boat and took a loss. So it beats the feck out of me. Might have to start betting against the gut after doing the good work, the gut gets round 4 wrong...
