Some of the posts on here really do beggar belief. Someone has been continually crabbing Jack Kray's reasonable and well put together post, though I wonder if they have ever put such a post together themselves.

As it turns out, Kuch chucked it in and I got it wrong. Although I could make the argument that it is impossible to prove that I was wrong - I made him a 2.2 or 2.25 shot, and if I was right then he still loses more times than he wins. But I am happy to put that aside and say that I was wrong, and I have made a decent sized loss on this tournament. However, in a forum that is seemingly more and more bereft of reasonable debate it is grim to see people who put up decent arguments (whether they be right or wrong) get criticised and mocked (after the event) for doing so.

All the people who have said 'Kuch jacking it in again' or words to that effect need to take a look at his record. He chucked it away today but in my opinion that does not make him a choker. Players have bad days. If someone does that repeatedly in that situation without ever getting it done then they could perhaps be labelled thus, but not a man who has proved he can get it done several times. By that logic I would think that only Woods would be a non-choker. All of the top 20 in the world have jacked it on at least two or three occasions, but they are not all 'chokers' as some on here would label them.
Report mengmeng August 26, 2013 1:50 AM BST
prior to kooch's win at the players i think it was there was countless times on a sunday where he got to the lead onlt to throw in a few poor bogies in the next few holes, sure he has wom some because he is a class player but i have him down as not one to trust and its served me well more times than not.
Report laynplay August 26, 2013 12:34 PM BST

you can write as many words as you like....rather like willoughby and cunningham do in horse racing without actually highlighting any winners....the bottom line though is that as mengmeng says Kooch has turned it in on sundays the vast majority of times he has led...just like westwood does...I am totally amazed that people who can put together a well constructed argument cannot see this very, very basic FACT...not opinion FACT.
have a look at all of kooch's last rounds when in contention...it is very easy to do on the pga tour website....his cheeks redden up as the pressure mounts and simply folds like a cheap suit....as I said prior to the 4th round, you need your marbles checking backing him at short odds..sure he will win an occasional one but you would need 5/1 plus to break even.
Report mengmeng August 26, 2013 2:55 PM BST
i would have made kooch the same odds as woodland at the start of round 4 myself.
