I played with an old codger the other day and he was wearing what looked like a pair of Adidas Green Flash, times have changed, for the better. Golf shoes are much more comfortable these days as a result

knock long enough and the door opens eventually happy. that's my thinking anyway - seen it a few times already this year with Sneds, Horschel, Haas and you could throw Scott in from a majors perspective.

@xmoneyx.......... your prediction of a close leaderboard is spot on. Late players very lucky the wind did not get up for too long. I think there may be 3 or 4 of the top 7 tomorrow who are predictable shaky leaders. Anything can happen . TEN possible winners for me. The rest too far back.

Furyk not long off the tee but thinking his way round. Playing the percentages knowing taking chances with these pins can mean disaster. As some of the less experienced players have found out. Dufner finding things to hot. Mistakes happening now.

As the course quickens up no surprise to see the moor experienced players to the fore.
Furyk 43 Dufner 36 Stenson 37 Stricker 46
Course going to play even tougher tomorrow

Stenson or Furyk from here, can't see Duffman winning but none of the top 3 can really be trusted. Stricker surely not, Adam still a big shout but single figure price and 4 back not really screaming back me. Value has to be Blixt, and will probably look outside of the winners market for some day 4 prices.

iv laid some on blixt and backed scott at 9-1.team left blixt stricker and now scott.big loss if no of them win .main bets were woods at 4-1 lol mickleson cabrera and z johnson.did bet lefty on sunday in open though at 28-1 so losses will be roughly what i was up

Very much like how Furyks going about it. Think the 4 mentioned have preference over Scott and Blixt. But testament to the ability Blixt in particular at 29 that hes so close. Scotts taking a few to many chances which probably wont pay off tomorrow. The more experienced guys will know they just have to play for pars and take chances if they come. You wont be able to force it Sunday as its sure to dry out that bit more by start of play

the fact that it took soft conditions for the dufman to beat the course record of 64 just shows how great that course record was. And how tough it is when conditions are quicker

Experience to win the day tomorrow Take your pick of Furyk(been the and done it),Stenson(putting can be shaky under pressure but man in form),Dufner(everything can look shaky under pressure but been there b4 in a play off) or Stricker(surely the most consistant player ever on the pga tour)

Think Scotts shown today he will make some wrong choices at critical moments. Something you cant do on this course And doubt Blixt has enough in his locker to beat some of these

46 years old, never won a major, 4 back and last time was in this position on a major Sunday was Merion - shot 76 and was done after the 2nd hole. 15s isn't skinny, it's anorexic when you think about it.

agreed defo skinny.but as much a chance as the 2 leaders in my opinion.its down to bottle now between maybe 10 players max.and i for 1 am not sure who has that bottle
