One of the faves every year. Love Firestone. Tiger made it 8 wins at both Torrey Pines and Bay Hill earlier in the year and you'd have to fancy him completing the hat trick and making it 8 wins here as well.

Team Anomaly got off to a rare good start overnight. Furyk and Donald were solid, and Poults is thereabouts too. Manassero struggled and I managed to pick out the reverse first-round leader (Popo!), but happy to have 3/5 in the mix.
Even though the team went well I'm kicking myself for not taking some of the 85s on offer for Webb late. It's funny how the brain finds negatives to latch onto

Agree DML, Congressional, East Lake and Riviera aren't bad tracks to have saluted at, might as well add Firestone. Added at 28s.

This could be the greatest round ever. Nobody else is better than -3 on the course I think and he's just dismantling it
watching tiger perform in the non major events this year proves something to me...........HE HAS DEVELOPED A MENTAL BLOCK IN THE MAJORS..............has he been close to winning since 2008............i think not..........something is not right when he tees it up in the majors

Depends on what courses we're talking about brain dead. I think 59 on a course like Firestone is much better than 60 at a course like Redstone for example, which is a par 72. No straight answer to the question.
is a 59 easier round a 7200 yard par 72 than a 7400 yard par 70 though

The fact that he tends to skip all the easy tracks prob hinders him a bit donny.

His record in the majors since he last won, is pretty darn good.
He's been through injuries, and personal problems, and come out back on top.
Having said that, I can't stand the fella, will lose money this week, and have nothing on him next week, but that doesn't alter my view on what a load of bollox I am reading here.

It probably will not happen as I have conceded victory to Tiger since yesterday, but let,s say for pig iron that there is only a 2 shot lead tomorrow on the 15th tee. We might get a finish. But as the odds say, there is a 4% chance of that happening. But those last 4 holes....hmmmm.
