Amazing how this has happened. Golf rulemakers seem to employ similar tactics to the Irish turf club. Pick on a small one every few months to justify the existence of the rules.

Slow play is a disgrace esp in America -no way should they be taking more than 4 hours round here in 2 balls....  the only issue is how to get those guys punished like tiger etc that know how to play the game when on the clock - in effect cheating - the only reason 2 young guys got caught is that they dont know how to use loopholes when on the clock - no conspiracy....
