I will go - 3 for Donald. Really surprised there wasn't a -5 out there. Webb Simpson seems the man to watch to me, anybody know if he has a birdie putt awaiting, I seem to remember he had?

Simpson had a shortish par putt on the par 3 9th. Hit his tee shot into the fringe and looks like he did a decent chip to about 4ft.

Poorish start for me, got plenty of contenders but no big hitters up there to make it easy. Had to lay the Tiger to get me back in it, always a dangerous ploy. |

For my sake I hope Tiger continues the wayward play but have that feeling he must play better today, how many left to right putts did he miss yesterday, was it 4? Can't see that trend continuing. Anyone else fancy Day?

Anyhoo, very happy with my four so far: Adam -3 (tough stretch to come) Dustybin +1 Rose +1 Pod +3 - topped up on Pod at 600's as too good to miss & hoping for a decent round this evening for a decent trade tommorrow. Also topped up on Dustybin this morning at 50's but I see now he's available at 65's  GL |

Look's like a breezy day today especially in the morning, possible odd shower but hopefully no thunder. Can't see scoring being any lower than yesterday. for me it's a time to be backing those already in the clubhouse, who should be looking in decent shape by start R2 especially with the market leaders still to play the final stretch. Also, any spillover of R2 to Saturday should be a big advantage for those guys as looks like the best time to be playing.

Was not a great first day for me. Lost several team members on the 1000 express and a couple who are on the precipice with their rounds incomplete - Leishman, Speith, Horschel, Henley. My best performed were the Hoff, Stricker and Bubba at +1, with Streelman still out there at +1 and Thompson even. Thompson going well, has gone through the back 9 which seems the harder so hopefully can get a couple of birdies on the way. No need for anything silly, Big 6 insurance policy seems it was a good idea so neither Adam or Phil can hurt me. One new draftee - Jason Day.
Not respecting Donald at this point, has the meat of the course to come before finishing round 1, see how he goes. and the Miami Heat won  |
