" Your nayme vill also go on zeee liszt. Vwat izz it ?" " Don't tell him, Palmer" "Ah, Palmer.. Your nayme haz been added to zee liszt" Good job I spotted that, maggot. Just taken my stake out at less than 20 per cent. Thanks. |

Just moved a bit of Palmer to Mahan. That's another green. Still a bit short on those at the top of the betting though.

Retief pulling out wasn't part of the master plan..

If my "team" played football they would be relegated!!

Westwood should have stayed on the European tour with poorer players and more importantly slower greens
|
|

And of course Tiger rips it up
Amateur hour from me this week... |
|
By:
I'm not actually believing this start.
The only fly in the ointment is I never done my Wee Rory. |

Really should put the driver away.

This could turn out to be the Rory tiger battle everyone's been waiting for
A long way to go yet mind |

Would be a great venue for it

Afternoon is definitely 1-2 shots more difficult. Any of these afternoon starters at -2 or better is in great shape
|
|
By:
Still plenty of value out there, I will discount the -9 and say the lead is -6. He and Rory have to p,at in the afternoon. Going to load up on tomorrows morning starters that are under par and hope.
My biggest winners all -2 and -3 |
|
By:
Oh would have thought there would be so many birdies.......
1st bet Rory (laid) Sunday night......then traded on Monday.......why do i bothered carrying on trading all week when i could chill out and do nothing. ![]() |
|
By:
The reason you trade so much Ski is the same as most people. Trying to get free greens before start of play if possible to put you in good shape for battle during the tournament. It is a good feeling when it works. I am just thinking how Castro must feel. 3 shots ahead and 30/1. Wonder does he go to see what price he is. If he shoots -2 tomorrow he will most likely still lead.
|
|
By:
Castro won't win.
I can still pick up 500s on blixt when he is tied 16th at 3 under with a morning tee time. It's a crazy market. My 4 big winners will have to be kept until Sunday. |
|
By:
If any course can give you an outside winner like Blixt Romeo Love or Curtis, it's this one. I am not giving up my huge wins unless the price is right. It's such a difficult course with DBs everywhere, anybody within 6 come Sunday has a real chance.
It's so difficult to front run on this course the pressure is huge. |
|
By:
I know tober........will keep to my strategy......but i wouldn't had backed Rory this week, only got a trade because someone matched my bet at 10......but it's just the feeling that when your 1st trade is up there on -6, the rest of the week been a 'waste of my time'.
However by Saturday or Sunday, i hopefully will feel differently when more of picks get into the top 10. |
|
By:
just bet kuchur @ 80s he's gonna win, just watch and learn

If this birdie malarkey continues tomorrow then the cut could be -2 or -3.

How we stand after day one
Zac +£3K Hunter +£1K Stevie Strick +£1K Palmer +£3K Tiger +£4K Kokrak +£2K Streelman +£352. ![]() Henley +£586 Danny Summerhays +£16K. Loooooong way to go yet ! ![]() |

By:
@Heinz.....if McIlroy and Woods are playing together on Sunday (just on the off chance) just a suggestion to get Rory on your side well before then. It seems you have a lot of options to enable you do that without costing you any more outlay. Just my thoughts.
|
|
By:
Sunday may bring us the best golf of the year so far. Course will be dried out some and pins might be tempting but dangerous. No way do they want a 20 under par winning score. Then again, they are in the U.S.A. Has anybody seen a market re when and if for the long putter?
|
|
By:
Backed Mahan, Zach and Castro. In position and well valued due to the presence of Tiger and Rory. Castro in particular is worthwhile, over the last month or so I've backed Points twice, Leishman and Kokrak after excellent round 1's, all were profitable trades and none of them had a 3 shot lead when backed and will see what comes of this fella this week.
|
|
By:
It's a two horse race according to the layers. The value is there, this course shows anybody can win.
Loading up on the rest |
|
By:
Nicholas Thompson @ 1000, seems a fair bet. Hardly going to be a balls buster if the fella fails.
|
|
By:
Had to take advantages on the prices on Blixt, Delaet, Bae, Love, Every never seen such value.
|
|
By:
**** or bust for me here maggot.
Morning tee off times 1000 to 500s represents the the best bet I have seen this year. |
|
By:
You saw yesterday with Gonzo and Hanson a quadruple bogey is never far away. Gonzo hit a good shot just missed the green by 4 yards and had no shot.

Taken stake out of Curtis.
Taken 5 times stake out of Castro, but still a big fat one. Stakes on Knost, Compton, Mathis, Driscoll, have been cast to the winds. Stake on Goosen, already round the U bend. More of the same from Bohn, and Lingmerth would be lovely. Tempted by the 1000s on Leonard, but as he's already a big win for me, I'll leave it. Palmer looking sweet, but I don't trust him. A low one today, please Mr Gay. Maggert not out of it.... Yet. Same can be said about all of my others, including the ever present taunting twosome, Matt Jones, and Cameron Tringale Onwards... |
