Horschel is arguably in the top.10 on the tour right now. Even though my money was on Glover, this run is incredible
cant see it myself, he rarely misses a fairway, or a green for that matter.

I was on horschit, couple of weeks ago was it? Absolutely sprayed it all over the oourse when in the lead, I vowed never again.

Such is life these days, any harm comes to anyone they are down millions so will err on the side of caution forever and a day. That magical little horn takes care of any liability, if a spectator stays on course and gets struck - not our fault, we blew the magic horn.

the problem is mate, its not the final hole as there is a group behind horschel, stadler and points.

Delighted for horschel great to see that reaction as apposed to Jason dufner last year.

Laid Points @13 from 1 1/2 rounds to the death. Phew. Had that feeling. Never wavered a cent. Well done to all that made their weekly pocket money here, and maybe a bit more. When I saw the tree going up in flames, it was a sign from heaven. Joke, I think.

Morning all, nice to wake up to a winner after all the E/W places in recent weeks. well done to all the Billy followers and shame on those who were saying he he's a 'bottle job'because he hadn't won by a third in to his second full season on tour!, who's next for the 'bottle job' label, Bud caulay, Harris english!
Well done to anyone who got on top 6 & happened to follow my 'rule of last week' with boo as well. shared the e/w 6th with English but still a decent e/w return at 80s. a good week all round.

He was three shots clear and long odds on until he started to wobble hammering it to all areas when he drifted to about 2.4?, only his putting saved him, the course was a good one for him because he couldn't get it into too much trouble.

He birdied 9 of the last 14 holes. When he was caught by the superb Points he rallied to birdie two of the last three holes including a great finish.
Billy deserved his win. It is nearly a year since he missed a cut and has been very consistent over the last few months. Will be interesting to see if he can kick on now.

I'm not sure what tournament you were watching Captain Christy! After 6 birdies on the trot, which were all legit birdie putts not lucky chip in's etc, he had birdie putts on 13 & 14, which just missed, made 1 bogey on 15, stiffed it to 4ft on 16 to bounce back with another birdie, had a birdie putt on 17, then granted had a slightly wayward drive on 18 before still finding the green in reg & making birdie.
As Mighty Whites says he has played great stuff over the past 9 months or so & the only reason it got remotely close yesterday was because of how well Points played!

Luke Guthrie suffered a dip after that nervy final round in the Honda but returned to form at the weekend. Not played in this but tour tips have him 1st and 7th on their two sets of course compatibility ratings.
Sundog and Mighty right on the money. To accuse Billy of bottling is ridiculous and disrespectful to Points, DA was absolutely brilliant in the last round. He has every right to feel very unfortunate for not walking away with the trophy after a closing 65 and it was his play and his play alone that kept it close. Billy actually looked very good and much calmer than in previous weeks, the drive on 18 was fine, you would expect him to go left with all that water right, see the same thing at Doral every year. Even Tiger when with a comfortable lead coming up the last there took the water way out of play. Horschel is here to stay, another young gun coming through the ranks.
