14 year old beating bubba by 4 shots
By:
Yeah....amazing performance from him.....at this rate he could win a major before 20 years old
By:
The 23 I took on BIG Ernie after he finished, is looking better and better.

Lord Bubba -7......not bad for an 'exhibition golfer'
By:
Rose -7 7/1
Bubba -6 28/1 Some serious difference there rose very short |
By:
bookies have Watson at 15 to 19 and Rose at 8 to 9.....it's the layers that are offering too high a price on Watson and i'm not complaining

Rose is terrible on Saturdays as well, stats this year:
Scoring average before the cut: 68.75 (2nd) Round 3 scoring average: 72.25 (153rd) And for 2012: Scoring average before the cut: 70.22 (14th) Round 3 scoring average: 71.25 (119th) He has some Saturday demons no doubt, time and again first page of the leaderboard after 36 holes only to fall away. Being 5 off the pace and at 8.6, better you than me... |
By:
You are quite correct but if he birdie the 2nd hole his price will fall.............after that it's anyone's guess.
By:
True ski, could still go against the grain and tear it up but I can't be taking that chance at those odds. Silly bet imo.

I just have a feeling about Justin this week that he will keep it going, hes gotta be feeling confident and good about himself and will certainly be thinking in his head that hes a cut above the guys in front of him. That said i think it will be more about him hanging around and being steady and the other guys letting him in rather than him shooting a 62 tomorrow!
By:
Hopefully Bubba shoots another -6 or more.....all stakes back and nice greens.....my book a lot better after the fiasco earlier today when my internet connection stopped working.
By:
After much deliberating and dithering....got all my stakes back from Rose.....will wait and see how he pans out tomorrow.

my last 3 weeks read Hoffman (valero) 3rd Snedeker (masters) 6th simpson (heritage) 2nd. aswell as olesen (one of the dubais) 2nd stricker (caddilac) 2nd haas (n.trust) 3rd please can glover get over the line especially at sucha big price
By:
Hard to trust Glover, misses a lot of cuts but has won twice, one thing is for sure this is going to ruin his price for next week at an event he has a win and a runner up at. Had him on my list, not sure he'll be worth it now.
By:
Don't laugh - but this is my book after today. Betting buttons as have had awful few weeks.
Glover + 34 Weekley +15 Points +32 Watney +15 Els +14 Ames +33 Horschel +2 MC De Jonge +41 Sabatini +128 Field -5 Not exactly KR or eddie is it ![]() ![]() |
By:
Just add a K after every number and you have Eddie and KR... Terrific looking book percentage wise, it's a shame you haven't gone hard.

By:
Hank......nothing to laugh about..........a profit is a profit.

By:
Rosey drifting........excellent decision.....thanks for your input Rhino.

Win or lose, I think DA at 36 after round 1 (or higher if you got it) has to officially be the price of the year thus far.
By:
I can move markets ski

By:
Sorry Rhino, win or lose i think Bubba at 150 or more after round 1 was better.....
By:
Agree to disagree. It was relative to his position on the leaderboard at the time. I don't think DA's was especially after a very recent win.
By:
I am running against the flow guys and laid D,A. points @13 for €60. Will sit out out tomorrow and watch. Best of luck. Lowry will be doing his head at missing the cut at the last second.
By:
Bubba at 26s still looks a good bet to me today. Thought he'd be shorter on the back of that fine second round.
By:
It's gonna be hard for bubba to win even if he shoots two 66s that would leave him on -18 probably still not good enough
By:
yeah miss, but you know how rare it is to get 2 rounds like that in any tournament out of one player. And IMO that's the least he'll need to do again to be contending tomorrow evening.
Anyone who took the 150s available on bubba after round one should be very happy now alright...TO LAY HIM and cash in on their good fortune. Personally I've been lucky with my picks. Kept my powder dry as I usually do for round 1, got involved before the start of round 2 with backing: (the bad) Steele Immelman Overton Palmer Kokrak (the good) Els (25s) English (65s...he's still that price so neither good nor bad really) Glover (16.5s) J Kelly (250s) Points (16s) Dabbled a little in and out on Boo and Barnes during the round at times when I thought they were shortening excessively, worked out ok so not a disaster if either of those happen to win. Lastly I think the current 160 available on Maggert is an over-price and have taken a little chunk of it with the intention of laying mid-round this evening. Have a green book and happy...not every week goes like this!!! |
By:
@hasachance...think you're right. My guess is -20 wins it.
By:
I'm guessing we see some tougher pin placements today and Sunday so -18 would be right in it I think. Glover and Boo perfectly capable of doing a Barnes in round 3.
By:
guthrie and jones, see them both picking up in round 3,round about 70,s
By:
thats the price by the way,not the score card.
By:
Stakes back on DA, taken stripped back Davis and taken a chunk out of English. Nibbled DiMarco and Gates at silly prices. Still pondering, it may be Glover.
