Just see your post now sandsave. Thanks. I am kicking myself that I did not take 30.00 when looking at it on Padraig. Anyway, he has a better chance if I do not back him. Just 2 back though. Alexander Noren disappointing 2nd round after showing early promise. If Swartzel and Tiger win the bookies will be even greedier with their prices on the fancied players next week. Hell. They will be tight either ways.

Poke...if you are around ...is there any need for me to lay off any of my cricket bet ie. 178 @10.5. They are now freely 27's. I am not stuck to get out and am inclined to stay with the full bet.

Sorry 92/5 England at lunch. Not fully tuned in with this cricket lingo yet. Give me a game of hurling anyday.

i like to green out in test matches. but each to his own. i believe eng's odds are truly reflective right now of their chances.

Good enough for me poke. Am intending having a late night here at home to see if my fellow countryman can win in Malaysia. Didn't back him but he is one of my weekend team. Have Tiger in the other one so it would get me right back into the fray. Hope your bets are going ok. Good luck from Tipperary anyway. By the way. We have the winner of the Epsom Derby in a barn a few miles down the road from me. Will tell you more during the week. Race is not until June.

The hell with it. I just noticed that Padraig is starting to suffer under the Malaysian sun and humidity. You should have brought him to SE asia to acclimatise poke. Suppose the Mrs. might object.

The humidity was so high and there were clouds around. If there is one flash of lightening the chances are there may be a downpour but it may only last 30 minutes. That is supposed to be summer there and NOT the rainy season as they call it thereabouts. Poor old Padraig could have done with hearing that hooter after 8 holes. He is wrecked. I called it early before that bad run of bogeys. Am away to bed. Dreaming of a place called Apo Island.

abs morons running this event, they could have started at around 23.45 UK time but decided to go with 01.45. What could have been a start time that made sure the weather wasn't a factor has turned into a delay with 4 holes to play. It's not like they didn't know it was going to piss it down at some stage.

Well done backers. Another big call by the muppet. A worthy winner however I expect Schwartzel will be disappointed, he was 11 under at one point just before the end of his second round.

@poke...just to test your brain cells on the horse I nearly mentioned. I gave you a hint already. 2nd bit of help is the sport of ''kings''. And finally there is an affinity with a Scottish golf course. Dont answer . Just tell me if you have the name yet and have a few dollars e.w long odds. A bet to nothing barring interim injury or something unforeseen. Very strong stayer they think. That is why I suggest to back for Derby rather than 2,000 guineas. Am aware you do not normally back a horse. Let me know what way Lux are betting.

Yea. Sorry poke. Some of us refer to ante post prices as long odds prices no matter the price. I suppose it came from a long time before the event.
