Total lay on Bill Haas now is €72.69 @ 2.82 leaving him as my very worst result of + €92.27 and most of the field + €298. Bigger greens on 2 others but they do not look great. Sergio Garcia + €327.64 and Charlie Belgan + €894.09. @jackdebean......one of us has to be right.

For me, Sergio is the best player in the world from tee to green, when it suits him, and too often it doesn't appear to suit him.
Hits it long, hits it very straight, superb iron player, and has one of the best short games out there. Not the greatest of putters, but that side of his game has improved no end. As bananaman says, needs to improve between the ears. I flinch sometimes when I listen to his interviews. All this royal "we" bllx. Only the other week he was going on about maybe pulling out of the tourney because of a sore shoulder, instead of talking about how well he had played. Full of negative vibes. He needs to realise what a lucky boy he is, and it seems that he takes his good fortune for granted at times. Needs a decent sports psychologist on the team. If he has one already, then sack him and get another one. Having said all this, I have had a decent bet on him for Augusta. I know that a lot of Augusta is about putting, but so is every tournament. I feel confident that Sergio will at least put himself in a position to hole those putts. If they start to drop, then he has a great chance, IMO. |
