Details of the late golf bet posted on Twitter
Bobby Gates gets a late invite to the event and as he was on my original list I now have to include him on my list. The 27 year old hits the ball on average over 300 yards and missed the cut at last weeks Sony Open. He will be keen to make the most of his sponsors invite as his best finish last year was here when 8th. He clearly has an affinity with La Quinta as he was 3rd at the Q School in 2011 and regained his card when 22nd last month Bobby Gates 0.1 ew 200/1 (175/1 OK) |

Interesting write up as ever, TMM. I've followed you with Stallings and got 150/1 EW on Betfair fixed odds - they're now doing EW and there's a few big prices available.
Also got early prices on Henley 50/1, Perez 55/1 and Walker 80/1 |
|
By:
Yeah - I had already put up Stallings b4 seeing the Betfair fixed odds prices - got List 300 and Flores 200 there though

Good luck TMM and Merlin.
It looks to be a wide open week with plenty of class players taking part. I've taken Phil at 20s and Ogilvy at 85s. |

Good read as always. I,m with you on Deleat. Got him down as a big improver this year.

i'm going for the hottest golfer on the planet at the moment to play hot golf on a golf course regardless of any history because there is only...NOW.
going for some zen 'less thinking is more thinking' theory. hot golfers gonna hot golf..... $50 @ 55 snedeker II (if that's too cryptic then it's russell henley ) |

By:
Garrigus 30
Haas 42 Ross Fisher 95 ( change of direction and hopefully back to his best this year) |

Playing a few longuns this week.
Nothing more than throwing a few hopeful darts at players whose current price appeals. JOHNSON WAGNER @ 200 SCOTT STALLINGS @ 140 KEN DUKE @ 210 BUD CAULEY @ 120 RYAN PALMER @ 136 (average) CAMILLO VILLEGAS @ 150 Hoping the bigger guns are still sweating out their Christmas turkey and that the lesser lights have been honing their trade all through the holidays. Enjoy. |

that game was nuts. tied at EVERY break.
this is this weeek's luxbet offer: "Back a team in the Head-to-Head market for the 49ers @ Falcons (NFL fixture 21 January 2013) and if your team scores 30 points, and goes on to win the game, we’ll match your stake with a Bonus Bet of up to $100 (Applicable to your first NFL Head-to-Head bet on this match only)." prob leaning towards atlanta. |
|
By:
Don't bet the NFL trade it mate, massive swings with great liquidity. Takes a little while to play out as well so our disadvantage of ringing BF not as severe with this sport. You do love your free bets though...
|
|
By:
i shall back atlanta and lay it off on here to be all square before the game and hope they score 30 and win.
it's a no brainer. if your mate says to you, 'if any team scores 30 and they win, i'll give you $100' would you not take it? it costs nothing to get a potential free $100. it's like a random stranger hands you a free lottery ticket for tonight's powerball. would you say, 'no thanks?' no. you would take the ticket and says thanks for coming ![]() |

gotta get myself a luxbet account

if you are aussie it shouldnt be a problem to cash in on the offers.
i think overseas people not eligible. |

Anyone got any idea about the order of difficulty of the respective courses.
|
|
By:
I think Laird, Vegas, Karlsson are very good value on a bombers course. also added Woodland, Immelmann, Davis, Fisher, Ishikawa, Love III, and a cover on lefty.

I don't really enjoy tournaments with stupidly low scoring and definitely don't enjoy tournamemts that involve amateurs either but i'll still be having a few bets on this.I coudn't be that definitive on who's gonna win this,so i'll plump for players at big prices. You have to pick 6 numbers in the lottery,so with this being the golfing equivalent i've gone for 6 players.
LAIRD - Win only@110s/Top five@22s KARLSSON - Win only@200s/Top five@35s MOLDER - Win only@280s/Top five@34s BAE - Win only@200s/Top five@50s LEONARD - Win only@620s/Top five@60s STREELMAN - Win only@240s/Top five@28s |

I'm on Russel Henley and Harris English at 44 and 46 respectively. Getting a decent run for my money. Think I'm going to get a decent run for my money this weekend. Henley looks superb and a great star for the future. I'm just a bit worried that tomorrow his adrenaline will have worn off and he surely can't keep this type of scoring up! Everything he seems to putt at the minute is finding the hole.
English needs to shoot low tomorrow to get himself in contention and I still think he's worth a punt at 50 that is available on betfair now. |

Stupid question
I backed Clark in the two ball yday against Appleby and I think I have lost, but clark is still alot lower odds outright than Appleby, why? |
|
By:
You have lost, and Clark is lower because he is a good player in good form, Appleby is neither - he used to be a good player but sadly no longer.

T17 Kevin Stadler (-6) 80
T48 Kevin Chappell (-4) 200+ La Quinta plays about 2 shots more than the other two courses and they played that course yesterday. |
