Although there is no cut there would still be -20 for any player who pulls out before the end of the second round. I would hate to allow anyone a zero score when potentially, however unlikely, it is possible for someone who posted on time to get -60 and the late poster gets an advantage. That is why I rarely flex the rules as in the long term its fairer for all. With 10x RP on offer twice every week its easy for someone to make up -60 or -120 over the first stage

Hi Eric, you should have entered the US one before 5.10 mate, c'est la vie, a good winner will wipe out the minus point s though.

If anyone else is reading this thread and still wants to enter then there is no need to put your name down on here. Just post on the USPGA thread next week. You will start with -120 but it will be fun catching up and maybe qualifying... only takes 1 good winner to win the whole first stage !!! If you are reading this after 2 or 3 weeks then you can still enter. Just post on the USPGA thread that week and I will pick up your name.. you will lose -120 for each missed week but you are still allowed to enter. MMK |
