Subject to confimation, and any errors (I don't think I've made any) being rectified.
It was closer at the bottom than at the top.
1 clear winner - On 17 points. 1st prize goes to: FatherMaguire. Well done Sir, £130 on its way to your account.
After a tie-break came into force for the places, as 4 of you tied for 2nd place.....
themover was spot on with 13.5 - 14.5 so gets £100 for 2nd place
stonecold- went for 15.5 - 12.5 and was next closest. £80 for 3rd
both jt45 and Puggy4 said it would 16-12 so a dead heat for 4th, each of you gets £55
After a 6-way tie for 4th, Mikey25811 got nearest to the correct score with 14.5-13.5, £40 is the prize.
In last place 6 people managed to score nothing and after the tie-break 3 of you couldn't be separated (all three were only 1/2 a point out on their final score predictions)
So £13.33 into the accounts of Bathmaker1, Delightful and Lufc86
Once again - if this is wrong someone will tell me by the morning. Otherwise, congratulations to you all.

Section E: Only 2 (Ryder cup) players scored NO points (Hanson and Stricker). This was worth 1 point to any (competition) entrant who picked it.
Section F: 2 players took part in 5 matches (Rose and McIlroy). 3 points for saying 2, 1 point if one out.
Section G: 3 matches were won by 4 holes or more. This was worth 2 points.
Section H: Only the very last match was (strangely) halved. Saying 1 would have been worth 3 points, 0 or 2 was worth 1 point.
Section I : Top wildcard scorer, Ian Poulter with 4 points, gaining his supporters 3 points.
Section J: Tiger woods scored 1/2 a point, so no-one in the comp scores anything.
The rest were done before the final day's play.
Thank you all for taking part. I hope it went some way towards adding some enjoyment to an exciting event.
My next big competition should be for the PDC Darts world championship around xmas. Unless there's a big sporting event I haven't considered.
Thanks too, to BCM2 and Betfair for the prize fund.

hi studyform, just have to let you know that your results are wrong in my case. you seem to have awarded me a point for question c yet i got it wrong. my final total (sadly) should be 0. In the tie braker question i put 12.5-15.5. This is further away than lufc who put 13-15, and yet you have awarded him joint bottom. Just thought i had better let you know

Mastiffs - Fortunately, I did state in the original rules and regs, the tiebreak goes to whoever was closest - even for last place. So those who went for either 13-15 or 14-14 (3 of them out of 6) were closest.
You got 1 point for section C for being 1 point out, (those who were 1/2 point out got 2 points), exactly right for section C gained 4 points.
