Suddenly only 5 shots covering the field...1st round leader market lively
By:
backed Hunter pre-tourney,besides liking the course got a feeling he's going to be sticking the proverbial two fingers up at wobble neck at the winners presentation.

Tiger making a habit of getting off to a flyer but not backing it up over the weekend so make him a lay here
By:
not as far ahead as he has been either, so a definite lay. +1 only 5 behind....wide open.

Very tempted to back Rory @ 9, hoping for a good start. I was out last night, so didn't see of the play. In no real trouble with 6 of the top ten winners, so might wait and see if anyone makes a move from the back. Any ideas?

Read the Lee Westwood thread, 8 bogies, 6 birdies (Same as Justin and Tiger, 3 more birdies than Rory), and being in a funny mood, taken 90 and above.
By:
Mickelson spraying it all over the shop.
Rorys driving is poor but somehow he's -1 for the day. |
By:
Furyk making a big charge.
By:
Started with 6 threes on the spin...wouldn't think that's been done before on this course
By:
He's on fire.
By:
F**k off Jim.
Someone told me you had no chance. |
By:
7 3's on the bounce...unreal

The commentator just said USA will next week '' try to win the Ryder cup for the first time this centuary ''.
What has he been drinking? |

Bubba looks to be on one of his going weeks - 22 very fair.
By:
Tiger would do better putting with his nobend.

Mark McCumber making Richard Boxall look like slimmer of the year.

Just backed Fowler at over 100/1.
The kind of player who could go really low. He probably needs a 64 today to be in the mix but he's more than capable. |
By:
Added Webb for the same reason Eboue at 130s. Making plenty of birdies just needs to stop giving shots away.
By:
The guys on level or -1 are not out of it.
This course is a strange one... Be surprising to see Furyk play so well again. |
By:
any links for tonight? cant find any
By:
Greens are worse than US open ones.
Ball striking is the key. A 68 is a truly great score. |
By:
Strange choice of club from Webb on the 11th tee
Webb Simpson -2 10 -1 next info 71 68 139 Shot 1: putt 536ft 3in, 36ft 1in to hole on the 197yd, Par 3, 11th Hole |
By:
The anti Tiger attitude on Sky is getting beyond a joke now, any excuse to have a slightest pop. Gets it to 3ft from a 30ft putt and talk about how the Tiger of old would have made that
By:
tv coverage nothing short of shocking, relying on shot tracker to see where >90% of tee shots go
By:
Bruce Critchley is becoming unbearable. If he says 'The Tiger Woods of old would have holed that' one more time I'm going to scream! Other gems tonight include, Westwood and Donald will be Europe's most experienced players at the Ryder Cup and to a lesser extent Sergio Garcia. My favourite though was 'Garrigus and McIlroy are matching each other shot for shot, both picked up a birdie at the last but Garrigus gets the honour as he holed out first'

does anyone know what happened with zach and the penalty on the 9th ? said it happened when 1 foot from hole.
By:
fries -most annoying for me is peter oosters obsession with players smiling"would be nice if tiger could just smile once for the galleries" "nice to see garrigus with a big smile on his face".shut up you dinosaur.

By:
ooster never smiled
