Second leg of the playoffs at TPC Boston. Gotta fancy Donald, T10 at Bethpage on a course that doesn't really suit, this one is made for him. Won't take 18.5 though will try and get on in running. Tiger and Rory both very backable at 13.5, both struggled badly on the greens last week but the Boston greens will not be as treacherous, Tiger has a great record here just needs to sort out his wedge play to win on this track. Should be a good one, last years final round was a pearler so here's hoping for something similar.

Will win on the European, but, short of a miracle, will lose on this. Have only Noh, Mickelson and Els as winners in the top twenty in the betting.  Moving some Noh to Dustin to make that four.  Have take some more out of Ransay to back someone else, but a clue really. Think Rory, Tiger and Louis are too short. But I think Louis is playing well. That's probably the kiss of death for him.  Good luck with yours.

Is Louis gonna get the job done? Tough to say he's been in winning positions this year at Firestone, Augusta, Redstone and Sheshan end of last year - 0 for 4 when going up against quality opposition. Looked brilliant here in round 3 and then the chest starting hurting. Another honourable loss on the way perhaps with Rory chasing him, that 6 shot lead halved in about 8 holes and we got 18 to go. Far from over.
Report sweetchildofmine September 3, 2012 9:55 AM BST
if rory starts well i see only oner winner ..its so hard to repeat a scintillating round two days running especially when leading..i reckon if rory shoots 65 he wins

You could probably say the same then about mcilroy. Dusty as capable as any of shooting 62/63.
Report sweetchildofmine September 3, 2012 3:17 PM BST

Woody on the same score as Dustin so the argument could apply to Woody......however i think it will be between rory and oooooozzzzyyyy.....oooooozzzyyyy shoulder pain/injury in the back nine makes backing him a non starter under 2 as i have no idea how he will perform today......the risk is too great.......the only way woody or dusty are going to win if either of them post a stunning low round and rory and oooooozzzyyyy **** it up....

Woods needs to forget about chasing down Louis and Rory , better to shoot a solid 67/68 and stay in the Fed Ex top 4 than chase it , shoot 74 and buggar it all up.
Report callitasucit September 3, 2012 5:57 PM BST
You really think Tiger gives a f*ck about fed ex cup at this moment in time?? His sole objective, as always, until it is mathematically impossible, will be to win this event. Born winner, wont be entertaing thoughts of third or fourth.

Report Kelly September 4, 2012 1:43 PM BST
Louis did look pretty iffy down the stretch , Mighty . Seldom back him myself despite his acknowledged talent , swing , and comparative consistency , which technically should have him in my "back " basket .

With hindsight , and a nagging doubt about his tweaked (intercostal or related) shoulder rubbing picture , we should have laid him at 1.66 pre kick off . Says more about the chasers ( Tiger excepted ) than Louis that nobody challenged him for second despite Louis not playing very well most of the last round .
Report Mighty Whites 2008 September 5, 2012 8:08 PM BST
Kelly Louis did have a big lead over everyone except Rory.

For his talent Louis very rarely gets the job done.

To finish 5 5 when he had 140 yards and 200 or so from the middle of the fairway tells its own story.
