As my highest challenger is Haas at -3, gonna lump on Woods ahead of a potentially thrilling final round with the wind finally making an appearance...Scotty will be tested big time and Stevie W will probably spit the dummy when it all goes wrong....gl all...

The Ponce is overpriced at 1.80.
Think he'll win by 2 or 3 should be a 1.4 shot from here. |

Managed to green up to £0 when McDowell hit 4.0 then laid The Ponce for a few bob at 1.75.
So book is The Ponce - small red Field - slightly less small green GMac - biggest green except Bubba, and that would really be something. Also got Aiken (top 5), Oosthuizen, Donald and Dustbin (all top 7) each way and it would be a lovely bonus if one or more of them ran on in to a place, but they are probably all a few shots too far back for anything better. |

I would love Ernie to win it.
But we know that it is not going to happen. I see 3 guys fighting it out: Johnson, Scott and Snedeker In which order, I dont know. Woods should be there too, but he will be short by 1 or a couple. GMac could spoil for everbody. Should know more after the front 9 Good luck to all of you |

KIWIPIRATE...if your prediction of Scott to shoot 69/71 is accurate
everyone else should just go home now. ![]() |

Very informative kiwipirate..........and yes, we will definitely know more after the first 9.

Need some advice here.
As some might notice, my bets are all in the 2-3 ball markets which have served me well so far, saw tigger in control and playing well yesterday with a good tee shot in the 11th hole while scott has a long putt for par in the 9th/10th. Stuck 400 on tigger at 3.45 hoping to trade out if tigger birdies and scott drops a shot. However, scott went on to sink the putt while tigger hits the second shot way short. Since then, price has been going north and I'm stuck with this position. Currently: +980 Woods -400 Field There are a couple of options for me to salvage this situation, including 1) sit back and pray for a tiger miracle or scott collapse 2) take a large red on either tiger, gmac, or scott. Would appreciate any form of non-trolling advice! |
|
By:
Don't forget option 3) put £500 on Scott to get your money back, that's what I would do.
|
|
By:
thats not a pretty sight owning..a tricky situation indeed
i would take the hit and salvage what i could.gl in whatever you decide. |
|
By:
It depends how much money means to you Owning, no one can answer that as 400 means more to one person than the next person.
Do not set up too large a red on either of the top 3, you are just hoping at that point and could set up a really ugly result. Probably look to trade the loss down in a cautious way |
|
By:
yes option 3 green on scott and red on field
|
|
By:
400 is an amount i could lose as i've made about 1k from the 2/3 ball markets but i'd much rather go into the final round with a higher chance of winning/breaking even as opposed to the current situation, which IMO a far fetch, one bad hole from tigger and its curtains for me, if u guys get what i mean
|
|
By:
sit tight till the back 9, tiger will be within 2 of the lead going down the back 9.

A losing tournament for me, unless Oosty posts a number. I'll be cheering on Scotty, because he's not won one yet and if he holds off the pack and the demons on a difficult day he'll deserve it. And because KR will have a nice tickle.
Good luck all. |

anyone there? how's the weather?

Scott a pain in the a$$.....had to used all my trading green to lump on at 3 yesterday to turn him from red to green.
![]() ![]() Greening up now will win me a small sum.....an offensive sum that doesn't make my 4 days of sitting down glued to the TV worth it. ![]() ![]() Best scenario would be for snekky and woody to go lower thus increasing my greens.....plan to lay as soon as feasible unless scotty starts off badly in the 1st 6 holes and i may hold off laying. ![]() ![]() If either or all, Fowler, bradley or colseart were to shoot -10 today....that would be helpful ![]() ![]() ![]() Otherwise it going to be a quiet day for me....don't want to lose my offensive sum of greens. At least my top 10 market is profitable no matter what happens......rarely venture outside the winner market. My greens on the 'other side', namely purple, is profitable no matter what happens. |

By:
rory disgracing himself out there lol

Not many options in the winners market. Back Tiger/G Mac or lay Ponce. The W/O market maybe the place to be today, Zach at 12s grabs your attention just wondering whether he's fatigued after last week. Thoughts?
