NW Arkansas Championship - Stacey Lewis is the finest product from Arkansas University but Emily Tubert could prove to be a quality player in the future from the same Razorback team. She has won the US Amateur public links and several other major amateur and college events and is therefore worth a small investment - 0.1 ew 200/1 (175/1 OK)
Constellation Senior Players Championship - one from way out of left field - Jim Gallagher Jnr. He won five times on the PGA tour in the early nineties but rather lost his way towards the end of his career. At the start of his Champions tour career he was awful but he put together a little run of form in June/July last year which saw him finish 4th and 8th - the best of those coming at En Joie which he had played a lot on the main tour. No-one in the field has any great experience of the Fox Chapel golf course but Gallagher was born and raised just half an hour down the road. It won't take long to find out if he can find any form as he is first to tee off tomorrow 0.1 ew 750/1 (500/1 OK)
The Nationwide Tour also has a new venue this week at the Victoria National course in Indiana. To be honest I was going to pass but I will give six time tour winner Kevin Johnson a squeak. He has produced several of his wins when seemingly out of form and had his best finish since the opening events of the season in Wichita last week where he had won before 0.2 ew 150/1

I have given the Champions tour a wide berth this week with no course form to go on.

The Nationwide or should I say 'web.com' event looks top drawer this week, one of the strongest fields this year and the course looks like a cracker. I think it's being televised on the golf channel as well so there is every reason to get stuck into this one.

I have been waiting for Drew Weaver to play on the Nationwide tour for a few weeks now as his recent form on the egolf tour has been most impressive. His form figures since the start of May are 2,1,8,2,2,2. He followed up that 2nd last week taking medalist honours in the Monday qualifier for this event. He is a very talented player who won the British Amateur Championship back in 2007. 66/1 may seem average to some who may argue that this recent form can be counted for little as it is on a lesser tour. However last year proved how there is very little between the 2 tours. Both Jason Kokrak and Ted Potter Jr started the year on the egolf tour and yet by the end of it both had multiple victories on the Nationwide tour and had earned their pgatour card.

My other selection is Billy Horschel who really impressed me at the end of last year with a great run of form on the pga tour. His form this year has been patchy but he did finish 4th last month on the Nationwide tour and caught my eye last week finishing 24th at the Travelers. He was 9th in the all round ranking, an impressive stat that should serve him well round this tough track. 55/1 seems fair to me.

I have had one bet in the LPGA event, Christel Boeljon at 150/1. She has won twice on the Ladies European tour already this year and has back to back top 25 finishes on the LPGA tour. Was 18th here last year seems overpriced.

Good luck tmm and to anyone else.

Hi DT - yeah liked Weaver - really frustrating that although more books are pricing up the NW tour they don't always price up the qualifiers or indeed are rather random if they do - sadly it is largely pointless in me asking for prices!
Good luck yerself
