Well if Lee don't make that i'm off to bed

Definitely playing tough out there....+1 from the leaders through the first 6 would be a solid result.
By:
From what I've seen, Lee is one of many to have dropped a shot at the 1st...

Monty: "nothing wrong with a 5 at the first". no wonder he never won a major
By:
LOL well done Freddie
By:
Tough up and down for Jim at the first coming up
By:
Evening fellas, long night ahead of us it seems, gone for kevin chappell myself. More of a back to lay bet but see how he does today. The others too low for me to have a punt.

Cracker from Lee at the 2nd
By:
wow, shot Lee
By:
stay away from chipping lee and you could be fine
By:
Ridiculously good shot that from Westwood, such a small gap between the bunker and the pin.
By:
big putt coming up for LJW
Federer going well - might post a score. |
By:
westy needs this depserately now that the first 2 make par at 1
By:
monty couldnt wait to get the woods news out
By:
Lee's price seems very short at the moment.....still a fair way back and Furyk is a very steady player ...Lee needs this birdie big time..
By:
Come on Lee!!!
By:
looking more and more like a two horse race with every hole
By:
Two horse race?
By:
Yes!!

booooom. c'mon Lee
By:
confident putt for a change
By:
lay price for a trade looks very fair now for Lee...presuming the front two or at least one of them stay steady..
By:
yeah they're starting to fall by the wayside marychain, and i expect westwood to bottle it. hope he doesn't though
By:
2nd shot was stunning, good putt too
C'mon Lee!! |
By:
Hunter or Na nearly get an ace there at 13? Big roar.
By:
thought that was missing right |
By:
Well everyone's dropping shots on the front 6, presumably one or both of the leaders will too. And as people start to get shots back on the back 9 the pressure will start to tell, and that's when this course can take bites out of people.
By:
Wouldn't fancy either of the leaders to play hole 3 too well...McDowell's isn't great with long irons and Jim hasn't played the hole well this week.
By:
mcdowell seems to be very steady. his winning experience will definitely help him so think the pack will need to start taking risks
By:
fair enough, i really don't know that much about golf - just watching this for interest, no money on. from what i've seen furyk has looked very solid throughout and mcdowell's improved every day.
By:
Jacquelin birdie on 11
By:
very very steady from the front 2....
By:
Be interesting to see these tee shots on the 3rd from the final pairing...
By:
Always different on a Sunday, especially in the US Open. Obviously, Jim and Mac in the best positions but there will be some fun and games at some point.
By:
Consistent start from Colsaerts.
By:
dont know why Simpson was evens to beat Colsaerts in a 2 ball. Simpson is a consistent player and a proven winner.
