Lovely. Of course I backed him. He's also not the type to recover. I've watched him enough to know that when he's playing well he's unbeatable but when he slips up he gets angry and then just goes straight backwards. In fact I may bet him to miss the cut now if I can find a reasonable market.

They are not going to cut the rough at all fro here on either apparently so it will only get tougher, I would say winner will probably be over par come Sunday

Thompson was an early starter and had a miracle round,Tiger also had the best of the conditions.
Lets see what theyre made of starting late today,you can have a really good day and get a 69,if you get a bit of bad luck on this course that can become 75/76. Hardest course and most unpredicatable open ever. |

He qualified for the U.S. Open, and because a court had issued a temporary injunction against the tour, the USGA went along with it and let him ride.
