By:

When: 15 Jun 12 18:04
He went way left Harter, had three chips to get on to the green, then missed his putt for double

Greens are lightening fast now, late starters are going to have some fun, lol.
Winning score over par ?

Lovely. Of course I backed him. He's also not the type to recover. I've watched him enough to know that when he's playing well he's unbeatable but when he slips up he gets angry and then just goes straight backwards. In fact I may bet him to miss the cut now if I can find a reasonable market.

They are not going to cut the rough at all fro here on either apparently so it will only get tougher, I would say winner will probably be over par come Sunday

Thompson was an early starter and had a miracle round,Tiger also had the best of the conditions.
Lets see what theyre made of starting late today, you can have a really good day and get a 69,if you get a bit of bad luck on this course that can become 75/76.
Hardest course and most unpredicatable open ever.

Predicted cut +4,can easily see that rising by a few shots.

Gonna be tough for Tiger this evening , greens are almost ridiculous already.

what score, realistically, do peeps think will still be in contention after Round 2? I'm reckoning around +3 / +4
By:

When: 15 Jun 12 18:58
The guy at -4 surely will fall back.

I'd say -3 will lead at the close.

Anybody within 7 shots of that can consider themselves in with a chance.

In my opinion ofcourse.

casey martin driving a cart around the course... I didnt think you could do this...
By:

When: 15 Jun 12 19:49
Despite the controversy surrounding him and his lawsuit for the right to ride, Martin has nothing but the best memories of Olympic in 1998. He had sued the PGA Tour for a right to ride a cart. He qualified for the U.S. Open, and because a court had issued a temporary injunction against the tour, the USGA went along with it and let him ride.

Just read his story... He took the USPGA  to court and he won his case to be allowed a cart

Mcdowell and Furyk in great positions here. Always rather be sat in the clubhouse knowing you've done your job.
