green on rickie & zach. hasnt been a great tournament for me though after half my original team missed the cut! had a nice win on a woods to beat bradley & donald to beat westy 2ball double yesterday though, so not all bad. come on zachary, now your not playing alongside that screaming moron today you might make some putts.
interesting to think what god loving zach was thinking everytime na screamed ''OHHH GODDDD'' when he hit a bad shot. lol |

funny how bloody toms starts playing great now, backed at 110, had chance to trade out at 28s early yesterday I think it was and left it. Same story with a few of my players. one of the hardest things to do as a trader, knowing the best time to trade out. Can't do it every single time the odds are favourable because they sometimes shorten a lot more.
Even yesterday using the leaders as an example, they shortened a lot without hitting a ball just because of the conditions or whatever it was. |

Blogs / TU-2 / Webb Simpson’s slow play turns off golf fans
Blogs: Start a blog Staff Times-Union Columnists Featured Community Blogging Tips Blog Categories: Business Entertainment News Politics Sports Webb Simpson’s slow play turns off golf fans More Sharing Services Share on facebook_like Submitted by Garry Smits on May 2, 2011 - 10:32pm TU-2 2 cents Webb Simpson is very likely a nice person and a good enough golfer to finish among the top 25 in seven PGA Tour events so far this season, with three top-10s. The most recent was Sunday’s playoff loss to Bubba Watson in the Zurich Classic. But Simpson has replaced Ben Crane and J.B. Holmes as the face of slow play on the Tour. He’s slower than slow. I started timing him on his last few holes, and he regularly took 90 seconds or more to hit shots (the Tour’s policy is 40-60 seconds). The problem isn’t what I think; it’s what fans think. I was watching the finish of the event in a sports bar. Some fans coming in noticed that Simpson and Watson were teeing off on the final hole of regulation, tied for the lead. It took Simpson hitting two shots to make two fans turn away in disgust. One of them said: “Let’s see if bowling is on one of the other TVs.” Think about it: an event, with two players tied, finishing on a par-5, and the telecast was losing viewers. Later, after Simpson required more than 1:30 to hit a straightforward chip, another fan said: “I’m glad he missed it.” ![]() |

What chance of a Sunday charge from Phil?....anywhere near a 32 front nine and the leaders will know about it...
|
|
By:
Lefty 2 feet for -6
|
|
By:
Nice thread. Kuchar is a bottler and Na is a time bomb, harrd to argue that Ricky will get an opportunity, having said that, if the top two fail to break par than the guys starting on minus 6 all have chances. There is already a minus 7 in the clubhouse so you sense that somebody from down the field might post early and hang on. Im on Vegas as a back to lay, to win, top 5 and 10.

interesting to see rickie shortened into 4.4 from about 5.1 an hour or so ago.

By:
Wonder if 17 will be a factor..with that flag position players in contention will play to the middle but still kuch showed what can happen..he will be thinking about it if he is in contention
