£50 win Snedeker @ 50s - Been a little disappointing in recent weeks but showed flashes of decent form last week and played well here last year.
£50 win Laird @ 50s - Bit similar to Snedeker really and looks as if he maybe coming to hand a little.
May go back in on Hanson again as love him as a player and find it hard not to back him most weeks.

looking forward to watching for the form of any potential masters bets, will be watching Immelman, Ohair and Moore closely.

Can't help but back Senden and BVP this week on both for top 6 at 40s.
Also taken English and my final man is a speculative dabble on Boooo. He showed signs of finally remembering how to putt last week and although he doesn't have a great record in this event the course should suit his undoubted ball striking skills. Stan James' carrot of 150s was too big to resist.
Good luck all!

A few big prices there, market far too dominant on players that a;lways play well but dont win that often.
Looked at Laird, Wilson and Els, but can't work out why Chalmers is 100-1, so he'll do for a mini bet pre-event.

$200 free bet on J ROSE with some other site. this is one guy that stays hot for a couple of weeks. can totally win tourneys on the trot imo. thinking of laying him for $100 on here pre tourney for free money either way but if he gets a good start its even more free money. decisons decisons. these are the days of our lives....

The prices are starting to heat up. I've backed Cabrera and Vegas at 500+, as well as Anthony 'I'm no KT' Kim at 300+. None of them are in great form but I'll cross my fingers and hope this is their week.
Have considered Gillis, Ames and Leonard around 500s, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
As someone said earlier the top of the market is full of quality, but they're not big winners so hopefully a few of my roughies can get in the mix. Good luck all.

Speculative selection obviously but just thought it was worth a punt that he might ride the wave of a decent last round on Sunday and looking at his stats from P.R his first half decent week with the putter since god knows when.

He was going off at 150-250/1 before last week in fields weaker than this.
Personally I don't think one decent show with the putter is enough for me to want to dip in, he's still not good enough for the price IMO.

Have backed Charl Schwartzel at 18s and Sergio at 35s. Both playing well of late although Sergio did lose the plot a bit last week - but I will forgive him half a dozen bad holes on that course. He was -5 during the first round at one stage and had a 68 in round 3 and but for his 12 on hole 3 in the final round would have shot a similar score in the last round too.
Also backed a few at silly odds - Bobby Gates, John Daly and Tom Lewis with a view to trading.

Jonathan Byrd whilst not a prolific winner he does nonetheless have five wins with one in each of the last two years. He has a superb long term scoring average at Innisbrook and in nine starts has never missed a cut having an average finishing position of 21st. He does tend to play the same courses well year in year out and will certainly give you a good run for your money. John Huh - tour rookie has already had an impressive start to his PGA career and in six starts has been in contention three times and won once. Even after his win as Mayakoba he played well for two rounds at the PGA National and having had a bit of time off I can see him raring to go again and really don't see why he should be 80/1. Harris English is a great prospect and has had a consistent start to the season with six cuts made but he will be more at home on the Bermuda greens he finds this week. He admitted he struggled on the greens on the West coast but in his first Florida event he played in the final round with Rory. He did fade that day but would have learnt a lot and we must remember that in just eight Nationwide tour starts he had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd with that 3rd coming in Florida. His win came on the OSU course which he had played before and he comes to Innisbrook with some positive memories having won the Southern Amateur round here just last year! DA Points has had a pretty good start to the year with some very solid finishes and back home in Florida in the Honda he improved with every round. He has finished 27th and 28th in his two starts here in 2009/10 but I believe he is a better player now and at 100/1 is worth a play. Troy Matteson - I am going to stick with Matteson at three times the price he was last week as I still think he is improving as he was 7th for ball striking last week but let down by his putting, He can boast a 2nd and 9th here in the past and his current level of form reminds me of when he last won in 2009.

Have backed Harrington and De Jonge this week on the strength of their Birdie or better stats on par 3's. 5 on the course and they are currently shooting under par on 20% plus on the short holes. They will probably play like dogs on the 4s and 5s but thought it was was an angle worth taking this week. Harrington at 85s in particular good potential trade name recognition etc.

I've backed a few that have already been mentioned: Senden Van Pelt Dufner Huh English
Also added Dufner as first round leader 66/1. He was T1 last week and at the Phoenix Open

Struggled to really find players I could genuinely feel had a good chance of winning outside my top two picks. Lots of players who have good recent form/ course form yet don't win enough and are plenty short. John Senden at 38s? Even if he wins I won't regret taking that price...
My Team Charl Schwartzel Nick Watney (nap)
Peter Hanson Ryo Ishikawa Jonathan Byrd

main bet this week Johnny Byrd,he's made the cut in all nine appearances with five top 15s and a T20 in 2011. Posted a 67 in either the first or second round in each of the last four years. Also Tringale,Matt Jones and Imada was runner up here '08. GL All.

Take a bow Mr Harrington, new course record, my competition is safe and my masters bets on him at 130s and above look value. I hope we see some highlights because it looked special not many putts thats for sure

Unfortunately nothing on him for the masters Eric, was planning to Sunday night but decided against with Cheltenham on this week. C'est la vie. Will be happy if he can close this week, long way to go and pod is pod, have. Greened already, but if he wins it will be my biggest golf win for well over a year, roccos win.

once again I have the first round leader so Pod backers shouldnt be counting their money!
He's played some good golf recently but just hasnt kicked on over the weekend. With a score that good, a decet showing tomorrow could mean he doesnt need much over the weekend.

well not the best of days for Boo with the putter...34 putts!
with English also out of the reckoning my hopes for the week rest firmly with Senden & BVP.

Well done to Pod backers who kept the faith - I did'nt lol !!
Not sure what happened to Charl - injury perhaps?
One feels only Pod can lose it from here - if he strikes on and attacks today then he could have a 6 or 7 stroke lead come the end of the day. I rather think his head will start to play games with him though. I can't back him at 3 or 4/1 but I won't be laying him either.
Sergio's odds look big considering he is -3. Did he struggle yesterday does anyone know - i.e was he lucky to make 3 under?

Pod does not have to attack, he just has to shoot under par for 3 rounds and he wins. None of the big guns are that close if he shoots 3 69s that should get the job done. I do think if he can shoot lower than that today then he may even relax alittle.
Best of the rest Dufner, Furyk and Toms for me. Made Toms my biggest winner, looks like a good course for him and a class player who has played pretty well the last few weeks. Took him before the off @ 130s and topped up at 90s

have a huge win waiting on pod. was going to green earlier but held off think i'll try to wait as long as possible. 8000 euro green now, have another 7500 greeen on dufner so hopefully he can row in behind and make it easier for me not too green off on harrington. have a good feeling, but then again i always have a good feeling with harrington. ALso have an even bigger win on mcgrane at ridiculous odds in europe, will def green that if hes anywhere near lead 2moro night

Think Pod is still a little too short to be backing at around 8 or 9/1. Just makes you think that even if he were leading in the final round he would blow it. Glad to see Sergio is bang in contention and had my reglatory tenner on Dufner pre tournament - he will win one day probably when I've given up backing him. Good Green on him and bigger on Sergio - would love to see Dufner win though - at the very least to get back some of the money i've lost on him the past 3 years lol.
Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke is hovering but looks very short considering the packed field. At the midway point I have had a tenner on Els at 85s and a tenner on Sang-Moon Bae at 40s. Els really wants to play in the Masters so needs a win here.

In the middle of a nightmare. Nearly a double nightmare, went to lay Kid Cassidy IR in the last at Cheltenham, laid Tanks For That at 8/1 by mistake. Did not enjoy the race, especially as my big bet was Tara Royal @ 40+, less than 6/1 in running and forgot to lay it.
Can win on the golf, but not confident with Rock and Hoey in the one and Harrington and Dufner in the other. Small stakes on all of them, so not much scope for trading. Did lay Harrinton @ 3.75 though.
Wing and a prayer stuff for me this weekend, I'm afraid. Good luck.

after the demise of Boooo & English I'm still relying on Senden & BVP who I'm not ruling out. I've also had a few quid on Overton this morning at 90.
Good luck for the weekend everyone.

chris couch @ 46s looks a value bet.only 3 behind but he finished t5 here last year. dufner always seems to get off to a good start then blow up so him and pod are lays now.

Jamie Lovemark - a huge talent who is on his way back from back surgery. In the past when he was in contention he remained there, he finally made a cut when 20th in Puerto Rico last week and is 13th at the moment on -5. 0.2 ew 125/1 1/4 4 personally backed him 200/25

its unbelievable really. Most golfers would tell you that you could have the ball on a string one day and not be able to find a fairway the next, but when you're putting well, you're putting well- to see such a swing in fortunes over 24 hours is pretty rare in my opinion, not to mention annoying to the pocket.....
backed him each way so was never going to lay, but now he wont even finish in the top 15....

Donald 1 shot ahead of Simpson and 27 points shorter. Market loves Luke, I love Webb and the price, Furyk and Goose ain't what they used to be and with Bae and Dufner as well, big chance the winner comes from a few back, have to back Webb at the price.

Great finish in prospect. Of those with chances im on Dufner and Toms pre tournament and backed Sang-Moon Bae and Els after round 2. Was pleased to see Dufner grind it out yesterday and stay in contention - love to see him win, he deserves it IMO. I think it will suit him playing with SMB today - they will feed off eachother as both are likely to make birdies and 2 great putters.
I have followed Goosen over a cliff and basically stopped backing him. If he wins then good on him - but how many times has he been in contention in the last couple of years and s*it his pants !
As for Furyk - he played well yesterday for sure, but don't think he will be as aggresive today. Winner to come from behind the top 2 for me and hopefully it's someone i've backed.

Yep, bet of the day for me is Toms! Absolute class golfer, knows what is needed on a course that should suit him. Still 110s, if he birdies the first (easiest hole) his price should be in the 60s then one more birdie in the next few holes and its down to 30s. My biggest winner by far.
Followed by Dufner, Pod, Els, Furyk and level on Donald and Goose field very small red.

Kevin Streelman 130 played superbly tee to green yesterday and hopefully plays the same today but holes some putts. Showed at Pebble Beach hes capable of a strong finish. If he can shoot a 65 today of which he is well capable -13 will be hard to beat.
