Did not see any play as I am still away foreign , and there is no interest in golf here , and they cant play the game anyway , not as we know it .
Rory took a lot of flak on here and from the media at the start of last year for his poor putting , most of the comments were valid in my book . Changed coaches ( from the same one our club engaged to advise our best players in a seminar , with no obvious dramatic improvement for us ) , improved steadily , changed management team , improved steadily . Guess he's here to stay lads , hopefully the knockers have retired . Still only 22 , birthday on tax day (5 April traditionally ) . Someone from the PGA might note that he does not live in Holywood any longer ( 3 years gone now) but like Tigers "course record 65 " at Newcastle a lot of stuff on websites is pure drivel and not up to date , maybe they will honour the World No 1 with accuracy . Good to see Tiger flashing through , dont think he is finished yet . 4 of the top 6 were non American though , must be a continuing source of annoyance from their point of view . |

His birthday is not 5 April, it is 4 May

Maybe we will let up on the innaccuracy of other sources after that false birthdate?
I suspect not |

Shows you cant trust the PGA site . Never got to grips myself with juxtapositions of days and months . Where we come from 05/04 is the 5th April , but if you read it about face its the 4 May . Point is he is only 22 either way , and he lives in the same parish as I do , and it aint Holywood .

No matter where the lad ends up living,he will always be from Holywood,Northern Ireland.
5 of the top 10 were from the U.S. Rory being the first non U.S. player to win on the USPGA Tour this year. I'm not sure they are overly concerned. Calls for accuracy indeed. |
