I could be wrong, but I can't see anyone who can challenge him here. I think with Tiger in the field allegedy on a comeback, it gives Johnson the perfect disguise. For my my wallets sake, I hope I'm right. Lets see.

Sorry I didnt meant to sound snappy mate..I wouldnt bet against him either, I wouldnt bet on him either tho, the values long gone, raging i mssed the 20's-23s just wasnt sure how fit he is n playin a 4 weeks running..Im on Baddeley from the start ew at 66s, hoping for a big rd 2day!..Tiger could go very low over the next 3 days if his wedges get going!

I think Lefty is a dark horse here. 5 behind of Wi but only 2 back of DJ, won here twice and playing Pebble the next 2 days which is being very friendly this week. Wi playing Spyglass in round 3 so may very well struggle, A Phil v Tiger v DJ shoot out on Sunday at Pebble beach would be some pretty memorable golf you would think if it plays out that way.

I dont think Charlie Wi will stay in front tomorrow. His second round at Pebble was not that great and with Tiger, Padraig and Phil breathing down his neck I think he will wilt under the pressure.

Admire Duke's courage, over 40 and playing with a metal rod in his spine, would like to see him win. Laying Woods and Wi at about 4/6 coupled just for the interest. Good like.

Wi is a seven times winner in Asia ( one co sanctioned with Euro ) so I doubt he will be sh1tting himself...was very very unlucky to finish runner up to Toms at Colonial when Toms holed from the fairway to win by 1....he is no certainty but can't be worse than Stanley & Levin in the past 2 weeks (albeit, Stanley did go on to be the reciepient of the Levin demise) but never had the pressure of leading till it was too late for him to choke

look at some scenarios..if wi shoots 70 or better its probably going to take everybody out of it bar woods and duke, even they would have to shoot 66 and 65 respectively to overhaul him.
if he shoots par or worse it opens it up for the field and thats what layers are clinging to..personally i can see him maybe 73, duke falling away and woods challenging with johnson or maybe mahan shooting very low to make it interesting. okay im rambling..good luck  |
