No bets for me thus far but getting involved now, Paul Lawrie is the one who has my juices flowing, seems to like the Emirates after going very close in Dubai and at 40s and -5 seems very good value, Tiger still suspect in round 3 when in contention (Oz Open, Chevron to a lesser extent) and Rory obviously a big danger but Lawrie screams value at 40s. Charl and Sergio right in there but I think they'll trade higher and lower in round 3 so leaving them aside, have an order placed on Anders Hansen (get to work layers) and Gmac tempting but let me down a few times so steering clear for now. gday rhino. pretty exciting day today. i am also on the paul lawrie train.
pre tourney i backed schwartzel on centrebet for $90 @ 29's and layed $48 of it @ 17 just mins before the off to in effect make it $42 @ about 40ish. kinda spewing i didnt wait til he hit 9's but i guess its not too bad a move now. sortof? lol. havnt layed or backed him anymore since. i also added these just before in play paul lawrie $5 @ 210 ( coldfarts $5 @ 70 manuel lara $5 @ 780 coetzee $5 @ 160 bjorn $5 @ 150 after round two i have added: gonnet $5 @ 95 maybin $5 @ 40 charl +1713 lawrie + 928 lara +3645 gonnet + 380 maybin + 218 other - 72 my main aims today/tmrw is laying charl/lawrie/lara at the right time at the right price. |

Good luck pokeron, good start for Bjorn, got Hansen mostly matched at 85s so I'm now on.

Three things about Tiger. Won't be laying him at the Master's. He's still carrying a bit of weight round his middle and can get better. The 3/1 available now rather than the evens he would have been three years ago is mainly due to the fact that he is no longer feared in the way that he was.
Still very useful though. |
