Below is a table detailing each horse racing bet recommended on this blog from January to March this year (2012).
My horse racing selections during this period has landed 3.8% yield from 272 bets (both win and place bets).

Some of the memorable wins included Swincombe Flame (advised 13/2) winning the Lanzarote Hurdle, Tara Royal (advised 14/1) winning the Scottish Champion Hurdle, and of course Painball romping home in the Imperial Cup (advised 25/1).  My favourite would have to be watching Voler La Vadette in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham.  We were able to cheer home Big Bucks knowing that we'd backed the mare at 9/1 without the favourite, as the two of them battled it out up the hill.

It's another profitable quarter for the blog, and already Q2 is showing a positive yield.

It's always pleasing to hold faith in a horse's ability, and for it to duely deliver on cue.  Yesterday's performance by Tidal Bay is the best example I can give to date.  A sizable 2pt each way bet meant we were always in good profit for the day, regardless of other selections.

Last chance saloon for Tidal Bay today, in the notebook.  He has talent, no doubt, but it's a question of whether Nicholls can get him to show it.  The trainer himself has said Tidal Bay has been targeted for this race, and is now off a realistic handicap mark.  The ground should suit, so everything seems set up for another switched off, staying performance.  the question is whether the horse delivers, and it's now or never in my book.
