Good morning, not sure if it's phishing, but seen possible compensation for a data breach on here and paddy power (amongst other companies) last July. Have in last couple of days seen no win no fee claim company popping up my phone. Was wondering if anyone had any information on this?

probably a coincidence though it would be a supreme irony if a claims company used the stolen data to spam about claiming for the data being stolen.

but I would be very wary of any contact initiated by claim company - or someone claiming to be a claim company. Rather than dave's suggestion of irony, I would be more concerned about the actual data thieves using the email addresses to contact the likes of kingscrewed under the guise of being a claims company.
