They have the same odds and in practical terms it makes no difference. However, in the extraordinarily unlikely event that you take down a jackpot, you can lessen the chance of sharing it, by avoiding numbers commonly chosen by others.

Sadly the main draws for Euro-millions (from the outset) and Lotto (since the addition of the extra 10 numbers) have been mathematically designed to "roll-over" much more often than not and create massive (almost obscene) Jackpots which play well to marketing/advertising.
With that in mind, although it is always still going to be a mug bet (or just a bit of fun) - you'd be as well to incorporate Dave's advice but also to only play when the Jackpots (quite frequently) reach the "must be won" stage - where in all likelihood they still won't be won - but at least the prize money will "roll-down" and give you approx double the (bad) value that you are getting in a normal week. As a bonus - if everybody did this, the feckers would hopefully rethink the format! - and focus on creating as many millionaires as possible instead of giving obscene amounts to a very small handful of people. |

But say if you buy multiple tickets for the same draw game then wouldn't picking different numbers manually be vetter than Lucky Dip as that could possible pick the same losing number for the multiple different tickets you buy for the same draw game?

Were I to play the Lottery, I would pick my own numbers, but pick them all from the range above 31.
My thinking being that people choosing numbers might well choose significant dates as part of their choice, so 1-12 and 1-31 will be over-bet compared to the average, and winning tickets including such numbers are likely to have - on average - lower payouts. |

It's better too , and this is definitely correct research every lottery ever drawn and then exact numbers would never come out again, so at a huge guess this is definitely correct it would slash your odds from no **** chance too just no chance dude
